    I think Berto is one of the “Big Three” at welterweight, myself. I believe he’s surpassed Mosley and, in my mind, that’s saying something. I spoke with Dan Goossen, Paul Williams’ promoter, this morning and Goossen insisted that Williams is still a welterweight. If that’s true, I would love to see a Berto-Williams fight in the summer, assuming Williams gets past Kermit Cintron in their super welterweight bout on May 8.

    Berto-Williams would be interesting for sure.

    Don't agree that Berto is ahead of Mosley. Maybe they will get a chance to settle that after the Mayweather fight.

    heck, I don't even think Pac or Floyd should be ahead of Mosley at WW, much less Berto...

    :huh

    Um... no. I still think he'd get destroyed by any of the Top 5 WWs. I think Clottey would give him hell, and THAT'S saying something.

    Pwill beats Berto, the only problem with Paul is, can he really go back down to 147?

    I can't see it. I think Berto's chin is suspect. Mosley or Williams would KO Berto quite easily imo.

    Berto vs. Mayweather in September, should Pacquiao continue to act like a small child regarding needles.

    Berto's not ahead of Mosley.

    Welterweight big 3:

    Pacquiao
    Mayweather Jr
    Mosley

    I wouldn't put Berto ahead of Mayweather, Pacquaio, and Mosley. Actually, I see those three as solid favorites over Berto. If Williams can still make 147(I'd be surprised if he can) then he would beat Berto as well. Berto put himself in good postion for a big fight if Mayweather and Pacquaio can't reach a deal. Mayweather-Berto would be a natural fit then, but Mayweather beats him. Berto is a good fighter with an explosive offense but I think he's a bit too undersized and doesn't have the chin to be an elite fighter.

    He's bigger than Mayweather, Pacquio and Mosley. Look at this pic of him next to Cintron;

    He's bigger than those guys but those guys are on a higher level than Berto so they can make up the difference. A lot of the top welterweights in recent years have been big guys like Margarito, Williams, Clottey, and Cintron. The only guy I'd favor him to beat would be Cintron but thats because Cintron doesn't like to dig deep to win his fights.
