here are a few little notes from his camp today.

    - he was in a great mood today. really confident and loose. he was having more fun than the last few days when he has been really intense. weight is on track, etc.

    - as i showed up to the gym today, it was discovered that today was the press conference and the fighters "grand arrival." i saw this in my email for my credentials to the fight that outline the schedule. he had no idea, so i guess dibella dropped the ball on that one. he and jeff were surprised.

additionally, he didnt know he has an open workout tomorrow at xtreme couture. i let him know about that. i will be there tomorrow and will get some good pics

    - Litzau was supposed to workout at the same gym as caballero, but later in the day. however, after visiting my site (shameless plug) www.celestinocaballero.com, and seeing pics of the gym in there, they decided it might be a set up and cancelled. for the record, it wasnt going to be a set up.

    - his friend Kafu Banton was here today. he is a pretty big reggae star in Panama. He will be singing and walking out with Pelenchin as he makes his way to the ring. he is definitely influenced by bob marley. here is a video of his

    - finally, litzau is my facebook friend and i have written him several times asking for an interview. i promised it wouldnt be an ambush, and i meant it. but he didnt even have the decency to respond! so i guess i am going to write an ambush piece now.

so tell me do i have any reason to be nervous in this fight? i realize that anything can happen in the ring, but as i sit ringside this weekend, do you really think i need to be overly worried? i think i was more nervous going into the yordan fight.

THX for the update bro, Appreciated. Caballero is one of current fav's aswell..

But as for Litzau, I'd say like with all fight's everyone has the tools to score a win. That said if Caballero is in top form he shouldn't have much to worry about except maybe the usual possible swelling or an accidental headbutt.
(That comes with fighting against fighters with Jason's style)

i agree. i just worry about the one lucky shot that lands. otherwise i am looking for a ko around round 6 or 7. and trust me, caballero is looking to make a statement in this fight. i do not think it is going the distance

good read. we always worry about the KO, especially after the wtf moment of Martinez-WIlliams.

Thanks for the updates! Caballero deserves more attention than he gets.

As for Litzau, as long as Celestino comes in ready to fight, he should score the knockout. Litzau's not a bad fighter and can't be overlooked, though.

Also, I wouldn't sweat Litzau not responding to your facebook message. He's probably just focusing on the fight.

Thanks for the update, Pelencho. I wasn't feeling the music, though.
