https://imgur.com/gallery/0ki8k5L My breakdown on how Bernard Hopkins became the oldest champion in boxing history.
Good fight and good win. Hopkins showed quite a bit more meanness and willingness to engage than usual. He also used every trick in the book to psych out Pascal. Hopkins chin is badly underrated. The way he could still take Bombs, survive and recover at age 45+ was amazing. Look at how Leonard reacted to punches at age 40 vs Camacho. Even against Smith in his last fight Bernard showed a concrete Jaw. Fell headfirst onto the concrete from like 6 feet after being knocked out of the ring and he gets up and starts complaining and haggling with the ref like a middle eastern street vendor (like he always did lol) before he even completed the count
Aggressive Hopkins, as rarely as he appeared was always worth the watch. Some stellar performances over a massive period of time.
