Still nothing on the Lomachenko front for his May 12th opponent. Oscar is **** blocking the Linares fight despite a quote from one of oscar's La Raza henchmen on ESPN about being "open" to making the fight. I guess turning down a fight on multiple dates the most recent of which because it conflicts with a live show + PPV replay GBP is doing somehow constitutes being "open'. LOL

After the soft tissue damage Beltan took in his grueling title winning performance last Saturday there is little chance he will be able to make that May 12th date so I guess that leaves Gamboa. No 3rd weightclass title in his 12th fight and the cuck squad blaming him for every other conceivable bout not happening and what have left is a big mess.

I agree with you on this one, plus Arum is a bit guilty too because he could settle for another date. Why does Arum want to clash with that rematch/playback when he could give Lomachenko more time to be ready and fight in June then again at the end of the year.
Oscar is going to play that Linares vs Lomachenko fight up for promotion just like he did with the Canelo vs Golovkin fight.

^^^ I have no idea about why TR has settled on May 12th. First it was April 28 so who knows. Coordinating TV dates with arenas has to be a pain in the ass perhaps the next available date/location was just too far off.

Looks like TR is aiming for Loma/Pac for Fall/Winter and WBSS may be doing LW tournament starting in Winter so Loma and Linares' career trajectories will probably end up missing. That is why i wanted this fight made now but GBP had to **** block the damn thing.

Oscar does not want his fighter Linares to get beaten by Lomachenko period! That's the problem. Arum is also destroying Lomachenko's career, he will be 50 years old before he gets another fight!

i kno loma loves to go after belts but maybe ease ur way into 135. i kno hes a beast but might be the smart move especially just after fightin little rigo. loma vs gamboa i have a feeling will happen. which watever its cool but loma will hurt him . gamboa wont quit because he will get ko'd before he can quit.

My only guess is Arum wants to make it PPV. Since all the other dates were ESPN I'm going to guess that there's a lack of HBO dates. Which is probably true since a lack of available dates is why Arum moved to ESPN in the first place.

May 12th? No way! Like 0% chance. I guess it's because (I quote): "...May and June, Saturday night slots (on ESPN) become scarce as the NBA Playoffs take place."

Probably waiting to see how Beltran recovers.

From a purely physical point of view, I see no reason why Berchelt can’t be an option.

He had an easy fight a couple of weeks ago and should be good to go by May
