Nothing that Fury has done is as impressive as what Ruiz did

Fury should challenge Ruiz next. Interesting fight.

AJ was always overrated and there were visible cracks in the armor.

I rate ending Wlad's reign in Germany on points over the AJ pummelling. If AJ comes back and wipes out the division that opinion could change, but I don't see that happening.

Let's not forget ruiz lost to Parker, who's no great shakes.

He had a good style to handle Joshua but Fury is totally different and Ruiz plodding forward trying to get close to Fury with no defence = a bad night for ruiz

Joshua can't fight backing up, Fury is excellent at it.

    Meh I disagree

There was this "myth" that everyone saw AJ as unbeatable but outside of his own team and a few casuals that was never really the case.

The last fight AJ looked really good in was Charles Martin, since then he had troubles in every single fight

Anyone who knows anything in boxing recognized that, he was trying to reign over a division with the same tactics he used as a prospect.

I myself said he was in a position to start making adjustments before he lost, but he ended up losing before making adjustments.

Not saying he's not a good fighter, but he stopped developing the second he won that IBF.

And to think that he got up from a shot from a hard hitting heavyweight in Wilder and beat him for the rest of the round, yet ended up getting cheated on the cards.

    This is pretty much it.

Ruiz is no slouch but Fury is a far better boxer than AJ and like Wilder their only hope is to get a lucky punch in (or a robbery in Wilders case.)

No. It isn't. It's your opinion.
Which no one had done before, Wlad was an elite champion, had the longest stretch at the top of the division ever and is a top 10 HW ATG, Joshua brawled with an older Wlad, was horrifically down on points and was dropped hard
Something that very few could do...

And no one had before to make the distance
Who was the worst of the big 3, imo and was the best match up stylistically for Ruiz
    Why are we pretending

His only competition was beaten by a motivated Mexican and he already beat the other champion

Absolutely no way Ruiz or ANY other HW takes that two-punch combo from Wilder in the 12th ...and not only gets up...backs Wilder up.

On the other hand Fury and Wilder both beat Joshua.

You don't understand boxing if you think he won the rest of the round

You don't get knocked down and win the round.

Neither do you win by getting back up after the ref extends a count.

A 40% Gypsy Squad beating a 100% Bum Squad on his turf who hadn't fought anyone with a pulse in 3 years, had been totally inactive for 2.5 years, spent the entire duration of that 2.5 years abusing the hell out of his body (and I do mean serious abuse) drinking industrial amounts of alcohol (minimum of 100 pints per week and that was just his warm up before moving on to the spirits), snorting mountains of coke, and stuffing his face full of enough junk food everyday to feed a small country, having to shed 140lbs after ballooning up to over 400lbs which obviously lead to muscle atrophy and left him weak, and battling chronic depression, suicidal thoughts, and even suffering a nervous breakdown>>>>100% Ruiz beating 60% Robo Squad in his (Ruiz) country.

Yes AJ>>>Bum Squad but AJ looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders during his ring walk (something which caught the attention of about a billion other boxers and fans alike, many of whom don't even care for AJ) and had Ruiz beaten him on his turf I don't believe it would've been that way and therefore it would've made Ruiz's victory more impressive.
