Before the fight was signed floyd was always downing and discrediting Shane, for not being his own boss, for letting his wife speak for him, for being owned by Oscar, toothache, not being a PPV draw. Now that lil floyd got forced into fighting Mosley against his will by HBO and golden Boy who wouldn't pay for no Hatthew Mattons or Nate Cambpells spar sessions, floyd be trying to kiss Shane's ass.

holding his hand at the faceoff, talkin nice about him, saying how much he respects him and his career. floyd won't say nothing nasty no more. wonder why? he scared that's why. but there aint no way out now but to fake a rib injury. fraud know's what's coming and is trying to play mr. nice guy now, to take the edge off Shane.

 

When asked by Brian Kenny why he chose to fight Marquez instead of Mosley, Floyd's answer was:

• Shane Mosley is not a PPV attraction, but Marquez has a country behind him.
• Shane Mosley has 5 losses.

In reality, Mosley did far more PPV buys in 1 fight with Oscar than Marquez did his entire life at that point. Floyd himself has since said that he "didn't have a dance partner" when his PPV was compared to Pacquiao-Cotto.

And Marquez had 4 losses and an additional loss which was incorrectly scored a draw. And 2 fights in his career above 130lbs.
