LukeO, so do I...it's just that I respect his TALENT AND ABILITY, but like many others I find his comments about how he's better than Ali, Robinson, Leonard, etc. to be extremely disrespectful and most likely incorrect. You don't see Kobe and Lebron out there saying Michael Jordan was trash and that they're the best - it's the opposite, they pay nothing but respect and Lebron has even considered changing his jersey number so as to pay respect to MJ. That's the kind of class and respect I like to see in a champion, regardless of what sport it is.

I'm not bashing Floyd at all, in fact I've watched (and paid for) every one of his fights in recent memory. He's an incredibly gifted boxer, but you have to admit that this business with changing his stance on Mosley isn't anything new - Floyd is in the mind game business and always has been. That's why I'm saying no one should be surprised at his change in stance on Mosley over the past several months.

That's easier to believe than that "haters buying his PPV just to see him lose" bit.

I think maybe that thing happened only on the Oscar fight.

Hatred fueled much of Muhammad Ali’s popularity.
At the height of his popularity Ali fought before millions on television with thousands more watching at ringside. His was one of the most recognized faces on the planet.
    And, still is.
But, not everyone watching was cheering for him.

Many in the crowd hated Ali. Passionately.
Some who watched Ali box hoped to see history live, or as near to it as they could afford. They wanted to see the “loudmouth” boxer brought down a notch–to see the “Louisville Lip” finally get what he deserved.

They wanted to see Muhammad Ali lose.
And, they wanted to be there when it happened.

Muhammad Ali was aware that not everyone in the crowds wanted to see him win. He turned their hate to his advantage.
What he wanted most was for them to pay to see him fight. And they did.

You see, not only was Ali a consumate fighter. He was also a brilliant self-promoter par excellence, with few equals in the world

Well, just because he is better than SRR and Ali you have to hate on him?
I don't think Ray Robinson could generate half a billion dollars in 2 fights.

Ali's biggest payday was 10 mil. That **** is chump change.

Floyd is the record breaker, the risk taker, the rule maker, the high staker, the 26th laker, the no faker.

He is crackin chins, causin grins, forgivin sins, rackin wins, complimentin jins, and all kinds of ****.

    There is no one better.

If you cant post the fact stop ****ing posting .. Floyd has challenge each and everyone of these fighter to a fight in their prime ..

Zoo was with showtime and his team made a deal to fight Hatton behind his back. .. Cotto was offered a fight with floyd when he was 140 WBO champ, but according to Arum he was too green, imagine a champion too green to except challenges, Davy Moore should have done this before fighting duran.
Shane turned down fights with floyd multiple times on television. Williams never challenged floyd. Margo decided to honor a match with 28-10 gomez instead of taking floyd up on his offer for a fight after Zab lost to Baldi ..

Floyd gets props for fighting Mosley imo (even tho he had no other real choices), but stop this crap about setting up a fight. Fighting Mosley then would have been a better set up to the pac fight, as guess what, Mosleys a welter.

Floyd chose JMM cause it was the easiest option.

But he didn't fight any of them did he....until now. He said that, he was offered this, its all irrelevant.....when ppl look back they will say did he fight this fighter or that fighter....the answer is no i'm afraid so. But he has time to change that.
