Notice how the Haye fans say how much quicker Haye'd dispose of the Klit opponents?

I don't get it. Why do they keep saying how much quicker Haye would KO the Klitschko opponents?

    Let me recall:

    * "Oh he would have KOd Thompson inside 5"
    * "Haye would have easily outboxed and KOd Peter inside 4 rounds"
    * "Haye would have KO'd Gomez inside 7 rounds"
    * "Chambers would not last beyond 6 sounds against Haye"
    * "The ref would have stopped Briggs before round 8 vs. Haye"
    * "Arreola would have been KTFOd by Haye"
    * "Chagaev was a sitting duck. Haye would have easily KOd him in 6 rounds"

The same Haye who went 12 uneventful rounds with a 36 year old Valuev and took 10 rounds to stop a 38 year old over-the-hill version of John ****ing Ruiz?

Give me a giant f'kin break!

I bet Haye wishes he was half as good as his fans think he is. These guys think he'd ko anyone in a few rounds but the man himself knows his limitations which is why he is fighting Audley Harrison instead of a unification fight with Wlad. It doesn't matter what his delusional fans think, it is clear from Haye's actions that he doesn't share their confidence in his abilities.

Because fans tend to overestimate their champs abilities especially when this 'champ' pumps them up with those delusional scenarios in immature interviews.

    Trash sells.

    For kids.

To be fair Valuev had only lost once in his career, and basically nobody ever looks good against him. I might be clutching at straws here, but he also did wobble him pretty good with a right hand in round 12 like nobody else had managed to do. Haye also mentioned he had damaged his hand (which is loosely supported by TV footage of a swollen wrapped hand - For the record I don't believe this claim one bit)

As for Ruiz, he was no more over the hill than Briggs, and basically Haye dominated him like no other fighter had. I wouldn't even count the Tua KO as he caught him cold within the first 30 seconds.

Let's get one thing straight: Haye is not ****; he was a very good cruiserweight but he is untested at heavyweight. It seems to me most of the people who hate him judge his career on his personality rather than his skills and accomplishments.

I dont think its delusional to expect Haye to have beaten Chambers, Gomez, Peter, Briggs or Arreola quicker than the Klitscko borthers.

Haye is a most agressive fighter than either Brother. He may not be able to beat the Klitsckos but I would be shocked if he didn't beat all of the above within 8 rounds.

The only common opponent is Barret who Haye got rid of quicker.

if anything Ruiz has allot more left than Briggs. Ruiz has always been a 12 round fighter, Briggs has always tired after the first few rounds.

I agree, people are judging Haye on his personality. He is a very exciting and good fighter who has acheived an awful lot in a small number of fights.

To say Haye would eliminate those guys a lot quicker, isn't the most ridiculous thing in the world. Haye's a far more aggressive fighter, and he places a strong emphasis on getting his opponent out of there. Every power punch he throws has the full intention knocking the person out. So yes, I'd agree. He probably would get a quicker stoppage with all of the above.

But does this mean he's better than the Klitshckos? Of course not.

How is Haye more aggresive? He threw about 5 punches around against the bum that is Valuev.

Then why did he take 10 rounds to stop a 38 year old washed up John Ruiz? Please don't tell me Ruiz has a granite chin, he was knocked down by the likes of Golota and James Toney and knocked through the ropes in 1 round by David Tua.

Yeh and he always got up. Serious you need to drop the Haye stuff it just make you look like a fool.

I don't think he was washed up either. His performance before Haye was impressive although agaisnt limited opposition. he was up for that fight.

Like Anthony has just said above, don't make a judgment based on one fight alone.
