Actually, I know how it works. Yeah the bar has to pay their fee. They'll pay it whether i'm there or not. The money i spend in the bar goes to the bar, not to Arum.
This picture speaks volumes. Rockgloves is already a slow plodder. Pacquiao's camp isn't taking any chances, though, in draining him down to 151lbs from the 154lbs at which he is comfortable. Same old.
^ Give me a break you prima donnas. So Marg, who's been fighting at 147 most of his career is going to be completely weight drained at 151??? Even at 147 he completely towers over Pacquiao. Give the little guy some credit. He's moving up in weight again and fighting a dangerous opponent after less than a year & 1/2 at welter. He could just as easily move down in weight and knock out some smaller guys at junior welter for the same payday. The guy has brass balls. Would Floyd ever fight a Margo or Clottey? Ask yourself that question.
Agree here. If anything Margarito has demonstrated over the years that he's out of his element and far less effective at 154.
and the money you pay that goes to the bar ,since its good business the will keep on buying fights..its a cash cow and you think, that with your 50 bucks you spend or not at the bar will make or break arum..you dont spend your 50 bucks but the guys that goes or buys the fight spends 150..why did you think they approved margos license, because it represents millions to dallas, jerry jones knows and we all know it...hotels,planes,nightclubs ,restaurants,etc...i went to clottey fight with my father from ca and we spent 1200,and we stayed only 3 days...you go to see where kennedy died or soooo many diferent ways to spend money..so keep your money and go watch mma...no offense of course!
It ain't a cash cow for bars to put on Manny fights or any boxing match in general. I know the owner of the bar I go to. He doesn't pay for the fight to make a profit that night. He does it because only a couple other bars do and he's looking at generating long term business.
All boxing fans everywhere need to buy the Pac/Margarito PPV. We must present a united front against the corruption of the CSAS, the adsurd antics of Nazim Richardson, and the idiot wind that calls itself the boxing media. Only casual fans, non-fans, and fans of low character will refuse to buy the Pac/Margo PPV.
Nov13th is a whole lot better than today. Pac vs Margo could turn out to be an epic war if Margo is in top form. Haye vs Fradley will be fun while it lasts.
Then I'm sorry to say you know very little about boxing & fighters. Tony Margarito started in the pro ring at the age of 15. He was fighting grown men experienced fighters hence the 2 or3 losses. He never had the luxury of hand picked opponents like De la hoya & Mayweather did. Tony had to FIGHT!! for everything he attained. All Tony did wrong was kick Miguel Cotto's ass fair & square when he was supposed to lose. He's had to pay for that ever since. Now he has a chance to recoup his losses against another warrior Paquaio I would love to see Tony victorious so he can laugh in DelaHoya's face again!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO TORNADO GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yea right i bet you'll be watching pac-margarito. Style wise this could be an explosive fight. Margarito has a lot to prove so you know his coming to knock pacquiao out. Pac always like to fight fire with fire. If margarito decides to brawl pac will brawl with him. Haye-Harrison should be fun to watch too since both have been talking trash at each other. Heavyweight division has been a joke for a while so harrison getting a title shot ain't nothing new.
