any thoughts on how the november fights will go? im picking Marquez to push lopez the distance but lopez will get a ud by a decent margin.next up is pac-margo in which expect pacquiao to stop margarito in the late rounds.in the other marquez fight i predict a JMM late stoppage or UD in the month's best fight while hopkins will pull an upset and take the decision against pascal. As for the super six i reckon abraham will stop froch ( maybe on cuts or a ref stoppage) while ward will take a decision against dirrell, maybe 116-112.As for williams martinez, expect williams to get BOXED feel free to disagree
Lopez by KO maybe around 7th Pac by UD 117-111 margin Hopkins by SD JMM by KO in 11th Dirrell by UD 115-113 Abraham by TKO9 Good month
Lopez TKO10 Marquez Pacquiao KO11 Margarito Pascal by SD Hopkins but hoping Hopkins wins JMM TKO9 Katsidis Ward UD Dirrell Abraham TKO10 Froch
Lopez over Marquez Pac over Margo Rigo over Cordoba Froch over Abraham Martinez over Williams (tough pick!) Ward over Dirrell Marquez over Katsidis I've never seen Mathysse but I was tempted to pick him over Judah, however I'll stick with Zab The Pascal fight is in December, Pascal over Hopkins
It's a great month when you see all the fights lined up like that. My picks; Marquez TKO Lopez. Rafa is one of my favourite fighters and I'm hoping he's got enough greatness left in him to pull off the upset. He has a tremendous jab and if he can get it working, I think the straight rights and uppercuts that will come behind it can do real damage to JuanMa. It's yet to be seen how good a punch Rafa can take at 126 and it's possible (probable?) that JuanMa will just be too much for him at this stage. I'm sticking with Rafa though. JMM TKO Katsidis. Even though JMM has slowed down, I still think he has far too much skill for Katsidis. I expect it to be a war with both guys landing big punches but I think JMM will start getting his combinations together and will win, late, on cuts. Pac TKO Margarito. I wasn't sure whether to go for a stoppage or a points win. I think though, that the accumulation will lead to a mercy stoppage late in the fight, similar to what happened against Cotto. I don't think Marg is anywhere near fast enough to do any significant damage - he'll be chasing shadows all night. Since Pac can fight, and throw punches, from start to finish, I think Marg is going to eat so many hard shots, the ref or his corner will be forced to stop it. Rigo TKO Cordoba. I'm definitely on the Rigo bandwagon. A smooth boxer with killer bodyshots, I think he's something special. I say he passes his first real test with flying colours. Ward UD Dirrell. Dirrell is faster but Ward will find a way to get to him. Once he starts doing damage, I think Dirrell withdraws into his shell and coasts to a points defeat. Martinez UD Williams. I think it'll be similar to their first fight, except Maravilla finds a way to land more of those clean, punishing shots and, this time, the judges reward him. Froch SD Abraham. I'm not confident at all about this pick but I'm sure it'll be an excellent fight and that's all that matters. I think Carl will build up an early lead as Abraham gets off to his usual slow start. During the middle rounds I think they will both start landing bombs on each other. I think at this stage AA has the better chin but I think Froch will do damage to his body and I think his last couple of fights have shown he doesn't like getting hit there at all. By the end, both guys will have done damage and AA's strong finish make it close on all the judges cards. Froch's good start, better jab and body-work see him getting a close, disputed decision.
