He retired for a day when someone mentioned he would have to face the Cobra. He announced his return as soon as he found out the Cobra was fighting Jean for the WBC title.

 

I thought he retired after his last UD win? When was he supposed to fight Froch? I knwo taylor was but chose Lacy instead, didnt know Lacy was supposed to?

 

He was due to fight taylor, announced his retirement then next day did a u-turn and said he would fight taylor.

 

I'd fight taylor for the money Lacy will get if im honest

 

Thats why he came back out of retirement, his loud mouth fat girlfriend was probably screaming at him when she heard he had retired and would not be getting another mega payday.
