November will save boxing in 2010

    Who else is looking forward to the great fights heading our way in November 2010?

    First up we have Juan Manuel Lopez taking on Rafeal Marquez. This could be fight of the year.

    Then we have a british affair with David Haye taking on Audley Harrison with the WBA belt on the line. Someone is getting knocked out that's for sure.

    Next up we have p4p number 1 champ Manny Pacquiao vs Margarito at a catchweight of 151. Although having a vacant JMW title on the line is complete bull****, there is still the chance that this fight could exceed expectation.

    We then get the rematch beween Paul Williams V Martinez, we saw the last fight and have our opinions on who won. One thing for sure this time around there would be more fire works.

    Then we get the bar room super six brawl between Froch V abraham, which has the potential to be a classic gatti v ward style brawl.

    Then finally the last fight I'm looking forward to in the month of November is Juan Manuel Marquez against Michael Katsidaz. This will be one hell of a fight. Classic boxer vs Brawler style match up.

    When was the last time a month produced so many meaningful match ups?

    Well, let's hope those fights live up to expectations because 2010 has been a stink fest thus far.

    This fight will be brutal to watch. I'm expecting it to be similar to froch v Pascal when both men take heavy shot after heavy shot.

    Froch vs Abraham because its gonna be a bombfest and is going to end in a highlight reel KO for Abraham. I respect Froch as a warrior but he needs to learn to keep his hands up.

    Have a suspicion that Pacquiao might have bitten off more than he could chew with Margarito. The Pacman wailed away on Cotto for 12 rounds straight before stopping him. Margarito, despite the KO loss to Mosley, is far bigger and tougher than Cotto. At some point Pacquiao's ascent through the weight classes has to end. This could be it, and if so, it could be a FOTY candidate.

    Think it's going to be the end of Marquez's career. Juanma is too young and too strong for him at this point. Could be a brutal beating and a sad exit for Marquez.

    stylistically, marquez vs katsidis.

    counter puncher vs pressure fighter is the best matchup in my eyes. i love them fights, even hatton vs floyd was great in my eyes. the fights are always a thing of beauty because they almost always have a momentum shift at some point where either the counter puncher starts picking the pressure fighter away, or the pressure fighter starts wearing the counter puncher down.

    yeah i'm 100% sure that this one will be the foty. I'm expecting a crazy brawl from round 4 on to 10 when AA will knock out froch

    I'm also looking forward to this match up, like you said stylistically these match ups are great. It will be interesting to see if marquez can take katsidez shots. Who hits harder at 135 pac or katz?
