Just admit his style is crap & doesn't work. Saying he's too small is rediculous. I don't care what weight class he's in, that style wouldn't work. It isn't like he fought anyone at 160

He had a bad night, Froch beat him pillar to post. (He was the superior fighter)
    Nothing more, Noting less.

    It's up to him now.

No he's definitely not too small but he needs another trainer that'll maximize his skills. He's the very definition of a one trick pony with no adaptability. He had no answer for Froch's long range jabs.

The man could do much more with the tools he has.

    EXACTLY!!

I love all these fools suddenly coming out the woodwork with their opinion that AA is too small for SMW! I didn't read that once before the Froch fight and he's already fought twice at SMW, it's a simple case of people trying to discredit Froch.

I think is promoter has done a wonderful job brainwashing the public. We have a guy that would drain himself to fight at 160 to fight in Germany against handpicked guys. All of a sudden, he's a top SMW. He did NOT belong in the supersix

He's a small super middle but he's a super middle! look at his frame, he's not tall but he;s thick set and wide. He can carry the weight and will not make 160 no more. He's just too limited against guys who can box. He will outfight the fighters but come unstuck against someone with a jab and movement.

i dont think he's to small his style is just a bit to basic to beat top level guys, i remember watching him fight wayne elcock a couple of years ago he won by ko in the 5th but lost the 1st 4 rounds and thought this guy wont be able to fight like that forever it's the fact that he does'nt adapt his style at all just the same thing over and over who ever fights him next should go to the body like crazy in my opinion as he really seemed to be wilting from the left hooks to the body also trying to break your opponents hand with your face is arguably not the best way to go about things either

Watch out for the professionals to show up in this thread claiming they "knew it all along" with the cheapest *****-like cigar coming out of their mouth and ass.

AA still has good tools to work with. Still has power, decent speed and a chin. He needs to get back in the gym and learn some new tricks. For one thing he needs to learn how to fight on the inside, especially when hes now fighting guys much taller and longer than him. Also get a strength and conditioning coach. His stamina is a problem, maybe a reason why he spends so long in that shell and fights sporadically.

AA isn't too small for SMW by definition. It's that with the style he uses, he can't execute against guys with 4" more reach and height. It was obvious against Dirrell and it was painfully obvious against Froch. So, yes, AA is too small for SMW. The only success he's had in the tournament was against another MW, Taylor.

It's too late in his career for that. It's called bad management when your fighter is exposed to different styles around his 30th fight. Now he's suppose to learn how to fight on the inside when he's stuck in his ways?

I respect that Team Ward used Bika as a fight to give him experience against a rough & rugged fighter. That is what your suppose to do
