He's already made more money than most people in his position ever do.

Without a manager to sort things out for him, having to take care of everything as well as manage his training, etc., and all the extra stress and worry that comes with that, I just hope Bika will do himself justice against Manfredo, but his preparation couldn't have been one of the best, unfortunately.

True! But if he is serious about his career he should move out of Australian and into a country where boxing is big enough to provide him with the support that he needs.

It's sad to see that he's not getting the proper support and training for his fight with Manfredo.

I hope he still finds a way to win because Manfredo is not the type guy I want to see in the mix at 168lbs.

Neither do I. He's a showpony who has been milked to death.

Why doesn't Bika fight out of Montreal? Why not sign with Interbox or GYM? At least, he would get regular slots on their undercards...and exposure on Canadian TV. He wouldn't have to fight in assembly halls in front of 1000 people like in his last fight.
Very sad that Mundine makes millions against cabbies and Bika cannot get more than $125k fighting Andrade in an IBF title eliminator!:patsch

Sakio is such a nice guy. I hope he pulls a Calzaghe on Manfredo. Damn, he put on and won one of the best brawls of the last few years and still no US interest in him?

But don't forget he turned down a fight vs. Librado, that wasn't a smart move...

Anthony Mundine made Sakio Bika a $200 K offer in the middle of this year. According to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Mundine and all his stories. We are tired of them. We want to see something happening except for the next taxi driver being flown in from South american or Asia.

bika, act like a poor man, he lives in Australia for **** sake and had big fights with calzaghe, bute, soliman and won a tv boxing show that he won $800 000 he has made well over a million dollars in his career now and lose nearly all his big fights.

He is not Australian and he not winning everything so most Aussie don't care about him, he should just get his ase down and train like a mad man and win a title and more money will come this is how boxing work.

He turned it down for $125k, saying he'd gladly take it for twice as much. A fighter as good as Bika, at his peak, after winning the Contender thingy should make at least $ 250 k especially in an IBF eliminator, no? It's not as if Andrade is a big name just waiting to be plucked either...
