Stop using the just got KO'ed excuse.

We've seen people get interviewed fresh off of KO's before and I doubt any of you could name another time this happened.

JuanMa was clearly coherent enough to formulate that whole ****ing story so why wouldn't we hold him accountable? If you say dumb **** in public you get treated like an idiot, way the world works.

I think the suspension is deserved. You can't make all these accusations about officials, referees and judges if you can't back them up with evidence. It's hurting the sport and the officials who are being accused. IMO his team is to blame here. They should ve intervened during that interview. You can't blame showtime. Their job is to make these fighters say interesting stuff.

imo Khan should ve been suspended too btw.

No more WBO matches for him for a year. It doesn't seem like such a huge issue. **** the WBO.

Not shocking news at all.....but I would much rather see all the crooked, incompetent judges being indefinitely sacked for all the recent robberies....

To be critical of the ref is one thing.......... but to flat-out call him a corrupt ref and a fight-fixer is attacking the credibility of the man's profession, he's attacking the sanctioning body's integrity, and he's attacking the credibility of boxing in general.

If he was simply angry with the ref stopping the fight, he should have just said so. He opened himself up to whatever punishment is handed down by slandering a referees integrity and professionalism.

Sorry for those of you who think the suspension is too harsh........ I agree with it. You CANNOT accuse others of crimes that you have no proof of. It can ruin a person's professional career, whether it be a boxing ref or a totally different profession.

I agree..... while there is no evidence to suggest the ref was attempting to fix the fight, there is definitely evidence that the judges were trying to GIVE the fight to Juanma.

The punch stats had Salido ahead by close to a 2-1 edge in power connects, and he obviously hurt Juanma multiple times.

The judges should have to explain themselves and the way they scored the fight........ and probably be suspended as well.

I don't necessarily disagree with the first part, but the second part, it seemed like Jim Gray was trying to give him an opportunity to backtrack, and not only didn't he backtrack, he affirmed.
