what a strange coincidence floyd never sought out anyone else for extra testing until pac .... when he was starting to beat up guys mayweather previously ducked....as well as demolish guys mayweather took almost the full length to beat... yeah test that flyweight champ, i aint no fool

 

floyd started to "clean-up" the sport when it's time to fight pacquiao. only delusional fan boys would think that floyd is really out to "clean" the sport.

 

Because no one else ever tried to make up rules like Pac did with Floyd before in terms of cheat proofing a fight, so Floyd wanted something in return.

Pac and his fans are the only ones who have a problem with it though, wonder why....

 

and who gives a **** about extra testing anyway? at the end of the day, anyone who tests positive has a damn excuse , or theres contamination or they took an over the counter supplement and it was really traces of .....its a false positive....you get the point...its all crap...

Floyd and Marquez were slated to face off at 145 lbs, and Floyd weighed in a full 147. Regardless of whether 2 pounds made a difference, as they say, a deal is a deal. And Floyd broke that.

Now back then, when has Pacquiao ever failed a test, even in contamination?

 

this extra testing has no real teeth to implement their findings. sanctionaing bodies are just overturning it's actual result and have their own doctor reverse it. heck, even some floyd fans like greg turchy and genaro g were defending peterson's cheating ass and saying that it's ok because his doctor has a consent for making those testosterone treatment.

 

The real question is...who the hell would complain about it? It's just a few blood tests. We're paying certain fighters a ton of money, you can argue that they're overpaid. That said, why not make them work a little harder for the ridiculous amount of money?

 

This wasn't a catchweight bout though, and Pac had already made up his own rules for Oscar too in case Oscar tried cheating him on the scales.

and I am cool with pac asking for the weight cheating clause because he didn't want to be at a size disadvantage. just like i'm cool with floyd wanting a clause to ensure he wasnt going to get cheated by a drug cheat.

Boxing, like all fighting sports, should be the most regulated. This is not some weak ass sport like swimming, running ... A fighter's health is at stake every time he steps in the ring. When someone is scared to take a test and makes nothing but excuses you have to wonder why.

 

At least we are partly in agreement.

Here's my take on that drug testing why it was rejected. Because it was insinuated that Pacquiao is using. You can get the hints when Floyd Sr. talks about him. And all of a sudden Jr. comes up with the additional testing which is never before done. (Compared to weight watch where there are really sanctions if a fighter did not make it.)

I mean, Floyd and his camp could've just said they want the sport to be clean and they'll start with this fight. Not paint suspicions of Pacquiao as a cheat.

I know you will say Pac should've just taken it in the first place just to shut May up. But I hope you see where I'm getting at.

 

So why is he agreeing to tests now but not 2 years ago? Is he not using anymore? Was he unsure of being able to win back then? Is he trying to cash out? did he find a way to beat these tests?
