...How in the Hell did Jermain Taylor Lose to 2 of the SLOPPIEST Fighters in Boxing. Answer...HE IS/WAS A SHOT FIGHTER!!! Now hopefully this puts to an end to the rest of the ridiculous number of threads calling Shane Mosley a SHOT FIGHTER!!! Mosley is NO DOUBT Old...But nowhere near a SHOT FIGHTER. No Shame in getting out classed by a Skilled Boxer because those are the kinds of Fighters that Mosley gets dominated by (Wright, Forrest and Mayweather). He Chased the Bigger man for 12 rounds in Mora who chose to RUN from the so called SHOT fighter. Mosley is still a viable opponent at 147-154lbs. He's not the Mosley that he used to be...But Far from Shot!!! Maybe it's good that he's with Top Rank now...Maybe Arum can find some BIGGER, EASY-2-HIT Fighters for him....hint hint!!!

The Definition of A Shot Fighter is Jermain Taylor..PERIOD. Anytime you get KTFO by 2 fighters with Absolutely NO Skill, NO Movement, AWFUL FOOTWORK and NO Defense (and in the case of Abraham, a low work-rate)...THAT IS A SHOT FIGHTER. Watching Froch vs Abraham last night was just Plain Awful. How does a Fighter with a Low Work-rate and no real Offensive, Defense or Versatility get to be 31-0 and a Belt-Holder? How in the **** is that Possible? And watching Froch throw that shitty-ass jab while continually dropping his right hand was like watching a bad traffic accident...JUST AN AWFUL FIGHT TO WATCH if you a fan of skill, precision, technically ability, speed, defense, counter-punching...you know, BOXING.

I wanted to jump through my TV and choke the **** out of Antonio Tarver for calling Froch's performance...MASTERFUL!!!:-(

Dude you sound like a broken record sometimes.

Jermain Taylor was never hot ****. He had athleticism but average skill and no stamina, and honestly was never the best at taking a punch. I agree that Froch-Abraham was terrible though, when you get outboxed by Carl Froch.... man.

    You're a ****** if u actually believe this crap...

Froch has no defense? Abraham was able to hit Dirrell much easier than he was able to hit Froch.

    You never provided a definition.

Anyway, Taylor didn't get KTFO because he was shot.

In the Froch fight at least, he got KTFO because he was brave and stupid. He should have gotten on his bike and pedaled to a comfortable win over Froch, but no...

With Abraham, he still didn't have his head right and his confidence wasn't there. The reputation of the monstrous puncher across the ring from him preceded him. He fought stupidly again (and nervously this time), and this time he lost enough rounds that the late KO was academic.

You can argue he was ruined by the time he stepped in with Abraham, sure. He was not shot when he fought Froch, though. He was 31 years old, coming off an appropriately dominant win over a truly shot Lacy, and winning the fight up until the very last minute.

Jermain Taylor outboxed and outfought Bernard Hopkins in the first half of both of their fights. Nobody has done that to Hopkins since Roy Jones in '93.

Taylor had better than average skill, come on.

I agree that his stamina and chin were never the best.

Was Jermain Taylor shot when he fought Froch? NO WAY. Taylor was winning that fight in the early stages till his questionable stamina became an issue. Taylor was slightly damaged goods (mainly due to the first Pavlik loss) but he wasn't shot.

Jermain Taylor lost to Froch and Pavlik because he has no soul. He is empty on the inside.

     :patsch :nut

Can we change the slogan of ESB?

How about "Your source for 24 hours of **** posters that cry about everything boxing coverage" this is a shorten version of what I really want to say...or is that still a bit too long?

I'm gonna be honest- if you've got solid skill and great athleticism, you can outbox an old dude(40!) who's fighting extremely conservatively for a couple rounds.
