Agreed. Just an example of how pathetic the aussie media is, I don't even expect a 2 sentence blurb on news sites. Just checked on foxsports and still nothing on the win. The average jo only knows Mundane and Green, and I only have the media to blame for this. All Mundine has to do is fart and it will get more coverage than a Katsidis-Vic fight. They get sucked in from the shittalk BS and have absolutely no clue.

90% of the posters in the ESB aussie forum could do a better job of reporting boxing in the media here.

Yeh it was hilarious, I was thinking who the f^*k are these amateurs, then I hear the band are called the Rejects and I can see why. Probably just some of Mitchell's mates pulling a band together who were playing for the first time. Sounded like something coming out of a "Red Faces" audition.

I think the only thing worse than that performance was the singing of the national anthem by the blondie. What a shocker.

Most of the daily newspapers don't have one boxing savvy employee. They wouldn't even know where to find info about Kats, even if they did care.

Until the powers that be at the papers see fit to give boxing some priority and employ someone with some industry contacts, and who basically gives a flying fark, it'll continue just being the Mundine & Green show.
