David Haye , first off , lemme appluad his achievement ...but we as boxing fans KNOW he now wears the TARGET VEST ...the vest that all other heavyweights out there wana try on ...maybe seeing him as the easier fight out of the major belts ....

Who DO YOU THE FAN think he can beat ???

    Eddie Chambers
    James Toney
    Sam Peter
    Chris Arreola
    ????????

It doesn't matter who he can beat, but who he will fight.

He is ordered to fight Ruiz next, then rematch with Valeuv ...
and knowing the reality, he will fight Ruiz again later next year.

So the question is how he will handle Ruiz and how he will do against Valuev the next time.

I disagree that he is wearing what you term as " the target vest. " This statement implies that he is THE MAN TO BEAT, and nothing could be further from the truth. It is widely accepted that Wladimir Klitschko is the best heavyweight in the world as well as possesing the most valuable price tag. His brother is thought of by many as being the second best right hehind him, and in truth, has done more since his return than Haye has in the same time frame upon ascending to heavyweight...

I think he beats all these guys and knockouts out the majority if not all of them. I also believe Haye's good enough and powerful enough to stop both Klitschko's, though those two fights are a toss up for me.

Chambers - The guy gets in shape one time beats a largely untested Dimitrenko, and suddenly he's a serious threat to the division. He has little power and good boxing skills but Haye is in a different and higher class. Without power to keep Haye respectable I don't believe Chambers has a chance. Haye's faster, more experienced, more dedicated to his craft, and more powerful in both hands.

Arreola - Anyone who believes Arreola might beat Haye has to really dislike Haye and his mouth to come to such a conclusion. Arreola is a protected, carefully matched product of HBO and his promoters. Vitali aside, Chris fought only tomato cans and out of shape, over the hill, coming out of retriement fighters. Vitali exposed Chris for what most of us knew he was, a crude slugger with limited boxing ability and almost zero dedication. Chris has a punchers chance against Haye as does anyone with power but Haye would be to fast and hard to hit, countering Chris with hard hooks while the fight lasted.

James Toney - Here's another name I consistently hear tossed around as a possible opponent for Haye. While the prefight hype and trash talking would be entertaining as hell, Toney's over 40, slow as hell and lacks power. In his prime at a lower weight Toney/Haye would be a decent matchup but I'd still give Haye the edge in that fight. Today's Toney is a joke. Anyone picking Toney in this fight should give me some of whatever it is they're smoking.

Sam Peter - Sam has only one weapon and that's his power. Like Arreola Sam was exposed by Vitali though Sam's a much better boxer than Chris. In this fight I see Sam trying to land big bombs and Haye getting out of the way only to counter and knock Sam out.

I really believe the only two guys who are a serious threat to Haye are Wladimir and Vitali. I think both of those fights could go either way. All three men have tremendous power as well as great boxing skills. Many ESBer's seem to severely underestimate Haye falling back on his one loss and his questionable chin while failing to realize each time he gets knocked down he gets up and knocks the other guy out, save for Thompson.

The same Vladimir Klitschko who has beaten nobody of note and has been starched 3 times?

You really are a funny guy mr magoo almost on a par with Rico Spadofora and Chef when it comes to talking about Vlad.

The last time Wlad lost a fight was in 2004 - same year as Haye.. Wanna know the difference? Wlad avenged that loss, whereas Haye didn't avenge his.. Wlad has since beaten the best of a division and has established himself as the true champion. Haye barely got by Valuev and has starched Monte barrett.... WOW!!!!!

And who has Haye beaten at the HW division? Bonin, Barret?:nut:nut Valuev? That same Valuev who lost to a geriatric Holyfield with a chronic heart condition, and mind you Holyfield beat Valuev more convincingly. Oh that's right you're going to gloat and tell me how he stays active as a fighter, and how unified the CW division by beating the likes of Enzo:patsch

I'm of the opiniion that the three best heavyweights by MILES are the two brothers and Haye and Wlad WILL get KO'd as for Vitali we will have to wait and see personally i see Vitali as too old by the time he climbs into the ring with David

he didn't avenge his other two losses against purrity or sanders, so no, he hasn't beaten everyone the divison has to offer.

Haye beats all of them in my opinion. Chambers would be a tough one, though.

How could Haye avenge his loss when Carl Thompson ****ed off into retirement pretty much straight away, Mr Magoo?

Wlad didn't avenge his losses to Sanders and Purrity...... he got his iron chinned brother to do it for him, rather than get his horrible Glass Jaw shattered..... brutally KOed again :rofl:patsch
