Now I can't blame Deontay Wilder if he refuses to fight Anthony Joshua in the UK

I hope AJ makes D side Donkey come to the UK and the ref and all 3 judges are British. The best case scenario for me is that Donkey wins a clear UD but the judges screw him over.

But Hearn has a lot of money, and they all want to make money with future work on Hearn-promoted events.

You won’t need to worry because Deontay (DuckDynasty) Wilder doesn’t want to fight Joshua!

That said you’re deluded, the Ref was bad for both fighters, Parker couldn’t get in range to land anything worth scoring and by no stretch of imagination did he get close to winning on points. Parker simply didn’t do enough to counter Joshua’s effective work.

Joshua dominated large sections of the fight with the jab and was the only one to land any meaningful power shots

The scorecards were too wide IMO but that’s just poor judging. I still had Joshua by 4/5 rounds with Parker winning 2 and sharing the others.

As for Wilder, he’s not as fast as Parker with either his hands or his footwork and doesn’t have the skills to box and use his reach. There’s no way he gets close enough to outbox Joshua and his poor chin won’t hold up against what Joshua lands on him.

Eddie Hearn is a man of great rectitude. If that was a Murican fighting at home against a foreigner the ref and all 3 judges would've been Murican, likely bisexual or gay, and the drug testing agency would've been Murican too, with every member of it being Murican and, again, likely bisexual or gay.

In your dreams Joshua was dropping rounds after the fourth. Parker landed a few nice shots on the break. He seemed to be the one who initiated the dirtiness. He also was coming in with his head, so turn about is fair play. You seem to just be a Joshua hater. No way in hell did Parker, and his timidity do anything close to enough to win that fight.

Fury doesn't hit hard enough to stop Joshua. I could see an in top form Fury, outboxing him though. I'm leaning towards Wilder now. That speed will be a big problem for Joshua, as well as that reach.

I had the fight closer. But in my opinion, like what was just said. The ref ruined it for both fighters. Joshua was getting a lot of success on the inside with his uppercuts. The ref was inexperienced and a massive bellend. He literally broke it up when they were punching each other. He spoiled the fight.

I'm actually starting to to think the Heavyweight scene is actually poor. We are being tricked in believing it's "booming" again. All the hype and fanfare but when you strip it all away and look..

All of them, none of them are very good.

If you think back and look at Lewis, Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson (when he was OK) and others like Tony Tucker or Ruddock would beat all of them.

Maybe I'm looking back with rose tinted specs, but the more I watch of AJ, Wilder and the rest the less impressed I am.

You're darn tootin' I do. The only thing that get's my juices flowing more than seeing a fighter get stiffed by the judges or a corrupt ref is seeing a glass jaw get brutally shattered.

@N17 --- Yeah you are looking back at rose tinted specs. Them eras have been completed and you think of the best parts. Whereas this era has only just begun. I wish people wouldn't compare eras with the present. Comparing completed eras like 70s vs 90s is fair enough, but not ones in progress.

Wilder never leaves it in the judges' hands.

It's all about the knockout and nothing else for Wilder.

But yes, that's still a fair point. AJ/Hearn could still bring in a bad ref for Wilder.

Yeah maybe I am, that's why I said it.

But I just don't believe this era is all that, the more I watch these heavyweights the less impressed I am.

Wilder probably has to win by KO even in the US. So I'm not sure it makes a lot of difference.

It's just his way of fighting, he takes rounds off trying to setup the big one.

Wilders not technically good enough neither is he fast enough, he gets knocked out by Joshua and Parker if he fights either of them.
