Now I can't blame Deontay Wilder if he refuses to fight Anthony Joshua in the UK

That's What you hope will happen! Unfortunately for you and the rest of the Joshua fans, Wilder will travel across the pond and knock Joshua out. When this happens, please, please please, British fans, don't riot at the venue and try to kill Wilder, like you all did to Hagler! LOL

Wilder v AJ in the uk would be a massive payday for both fighters .The money Wilder will be offered will make the decision for him .He will be going for the KO anyway so I don't think he will be bothered about the judges .Wilder is crazy anyway so won't worry

Of any of my "concerns" the ref and/or judges are the least of those. This fight doesn't go to the cards...

Wilder is not only "faster" but he's significantly faster, what an astonishing flawed assessment.

I scored it a draw, and think Quartarone did ruin the integrity of the event, but your takeaway here is wrong IMO.

Matchroom & Duco had mutual say on the officials. They selected Quartarone - and the judges - in tandem.

It was poorly reffed and poorly judged but to extrapolate from that a tin-foil-hat conspiracy theory about it all going against Parker because it was a Hearn event in the UK is ridiculous. The whole process was transparent. Duco had every opportunity to negotiate whatever concessions they wanted and there was a compromise reached on everything.

AJ should make Donkey D Side come to the UK, insist on a British ref and 3 British judges and then refuse to buckle an inch when Team Donkey put in a request for a neutral ref and judges.

Only in reverse gear, watch the early rounds v Ortiz there’s a point where Ortiz threatens the right hand and Wilder literally covers three quarters of the diagonal width of the ring in a fraction of a second, he puts 4 metres between him and Ortiz, the only thing missing was the high pitched girly scream lol.

Wilder has zero boxing skill, he’s a big punch fired from a glass canon on stilts!!

Wait...is your position that the referee "saved" Wilder, surely I'm misunderstanding?

If he was taught boxing properly with his freakish athletics, he'd really be something.

So wait...you're suggesting Ortiz threatened a jab and Wilder "literally covers three quarters of the diagonal width of the ring in a fraction of a second", can you link me to an example of this happening?

People used to say the same thing about Manny Pacquiao...hell I was one of them. I don't discount the value of technical ability, it is important...but it's not everything. Manny beat a lot of technically superior fighters...

Manny was/is awkward but he is no doubt very skilled in his own right. Early on sure just about everyone he faced was better skill wise but not the later half. Windmills however is not skilled at all, he's fundamentally awful and if it were not for his freakish natural gifts would only be a footnote. That's why I think its a shame that he was never taught fundamentals and whomever is leading his team needs to be fired.
