Brother, I never said Chisora was on the down turn. I said Chisora is a neverhasbeen. The only reason why we even know his name is because Wlad picked him as an extremely undeserved challanger for his title. He simply hasn't proven to anyone that he is above domestic level.

 

Povetkin is the WBA world champion, Helenius still only has 16 fights under his belt. I'm not even the biggest fan of him but his matchmaking has been second to none so far in his career and you're criticizing it

 

He lost his Commonwealth and British titles just 2 fights ago and has a victory since then in which he came in shape. He is very much a great matchup or Helenius at this stage in his career

 

Not entirely critizing. Notice I said his matchmaking has been cagey and I gave you a reason why. It is because of this matchmaking that he is considered the heir apparent by many people. All I'm saying is hold your horses, let's see him face someone a bit better.

 

Those would all be great fights- I'd like to give Wach a little more time to develop though. Seems like he is really doing some good things with the Deleon bros. He might just be a lot better than anyone gave him credit for.

I was hoping for Helenius to fight a boxer, not another slugger. I liked the idea of Helenius-Johnson. It's clear to me now Helenius is avoiding slick black boxers :deal

Just kidding, but I do believe his team are possibly trying to keep him away from boxers in favour of slugger types like Brewster, Peter, Liakhovich, Chisora etc. I suppose it doesn't matter too much at this point in his career but I feel to really establish himself as world class or, even better, Euro level he needs to beat someone like Chambers, Johnson, Adamek, Haye etc. Guys who could reasonably stay out of trouble for 12 rounds and win a decision

Helenius has fought excellent opposition for this stage of his career. I feel he's vulnerable to boxers with slickness but as long as he's fighting good opposition there's not much to complain about.

I reckon he'll **** Chisora up mind. I thought Chis looked pretty **** against Fury, a fighter I haven't really rated since he took a beating and left with a gift decision in the first McDermott fight. The manner in which he avenged it was good, but now I hear he was decked in his last fight.

 

I like this matchup - it will be an entertaining fight!

An in-shape Chisora is not an easy opponent for anyone.
