Its the only fight that will keep his name above water. He has left such a bad taste in the mouth of boxing fans that i think everyone is ready to stop watching him, PERIOD. However, Mayweather does have a chance at possible redemption by fighting and beating Mosley or Berto. Any thoughts?

Or "retire" again until Manny is available.

Or "retire" again and then come back when Manny retires.

I think Mayweather sincerely believed he can defeat Pac before the Hatton fight. Unfortunately, Pac demolished Hatton and Cotto. Bad decision to un-retire, but he had no choice with the IRS knocking.

He really might just do that. **** it. I know why he retired before; he couldn't handle the criticism, the "hate," the backbiting frenzied fans and members of the media. WE are the reason Floyd cried at the post fight press conference for the Baldomir fight. WE are the reason he tucked tail and ran from the sport. WE are the reason he wants to defect to the UK. This situation probably has Floyd beside himself, because secretly all along his greatest desire has always been to be LIKED.

Exactly! It is crazy, but the man is human with frailties. He will still beat our asses.

He was going to fight the winner of Berto/Mosely anyway after he beat Manny's ass. Mosley or Berto would have been man enough to test! :bbb

Floyd will not fight the winner. Too much risk of a loss
