i agree. these clowns are ridiculous. Berto was considered one of the most overrated fighters by EsB ever since Collazo "exposed" him. he was pegged as a KO waiting to happen. I mean ****, he was compared to Lacy on multiple occasions. yet Ortiz beats him and all of a sudden he's worth something? any real boxing fan knows what this is. don't let the dickriders say otherwise.

who ever PBF and PAc faces other than each other are not that competitive....this 2 should fight, other than that all their fights are just for the money

It's really a good tune up fight I have to admit but the problem here is, after this tuneup Floyd will retire again for eons then pick another good tune up fight then repeats the cycle :|

i said the same thing before. people completly wrote ortiz off and now he's amazing. ive always thought he's a top fighter even after the maidana fight. nobody in light welter and welter could kd a granit chinned fighter like maidana 3 times in 3 rounds.

He is if you take away Pac and Floyd in the equation. Against Floyd Victor would be lucky to win 2 rounds. Against Pac he'd win a few but will be knocked-out :deal

Ortiz had a great performance against Berto and pulled out the huge upset. He proved wrong what they were sayin about him as a fighter but that said, nowhere, nohow that puts Victor Ortiz on the line for a fight with either Mayweather or Pacquiao... It is a shame that these guys appear just to be used for the so-called comebacks, tune-ups and warm-ups of others, guys such as Baldomir, Clottey, Margarito, Ortiz... This not to mention the washed up and way past their prime veterans in Hoya and Mosley.

Your point is weak... if anything this shows how great boxing is, that your career isn't over after one defeat or a couple of bad showings, but if you rededicate yourself (pushing yourself forward), all it takes is one great victory and you can be redeemed. I believe this speaks well for the sport. I guess nuthuggers, who aren't real boxing fans, wouldn't understand.

    -Mayweather's chin is overrated
    -Mayweather's feather fisted
-Mayweather hasn't fought nobody at WW
    -Mayweather isn't even great

But Ortiz fight isn't worth **** because Mayweather is to good and the only one worthy of Mayweather is Pac.

Who the **** said Floyd isn't great you ****ing ignorant twat. He's one of the best in this generation. The problem with is he brags about being the greatest without fighting the top guys in his prime particularly at Welter stays in vacation for too long come back with a tune up fight and retires again. He could've beaten everybody if he had Mosley's balls but avoided a lot of them including Pac. I know Ortiz is the top challenger in the division only because its made mostly by Euro-Bums. Tell me honestly, before Ortiz beat Berto do you honestly think he can beat Cotto Margarito Clottey and Mosley? :hi::hi::hi:

Notice how people always resort to name calling.

LOL there was a poll on it and there was a multi page argument on it a couple of days ago. You must of missed it.

I don't think he considered Mosley a tune up fight though. Mosley was supposed to push Mayweather it just didn't happen. I don't think Mayweather came into the fight thinking it was a tune up.

Ortiz is a pretty damn good opponent as far as tune-ups go. But this is what fights are for. Ortiz could have been cutting to much weight at JR WW. Why is it not possible that he is a stronger tougher guy at WW then at Jr WW? Perception and reality are 2 different things. What did Pac do at JR WW or WW to get a shot at Oscar at WW? Berto was considered a big ww who had hand speed and power. You have to be able to compete at the WW level to beat Berto at WW. If Ortiz fought the guys you mentioned he may win some, he may lose some, but he would be in the mix just like they are.
