Before Pac came off as mister Nice Guy, while Floyd came off as Void. Now Pacs aura of good guy is shattered, and he seems a bit arrogant and shady. While Floyd remains Void, obviously.

I just think it's funny that Floyd is giving a guarantee, yet has 0 guarantee himself. He is commission based only.

Pac wants a 40 million dollar guarantee plus 50/50 while Floyd gets a 0 dollar guarantee and 50 percent of revenue. Thats stupid on Pacquiao's part.

 

Additional to being the financier of the fight he can also show himself (the fighter) as an employee who will get a salary...hence why his purse was $25m...Ortiz also received a salary as an employee of $2m...this will be an expense to the overall income statement of the fight. so after expenses are paid, the profits from PPV and etc are also split among the investors (Floyd, GBP, Al Haymon)...this was he makes a purse and profit whereas other investors (GBP) make only a percentage of revenue.

If he wasn't getting a "salary" component as well, we wouldn't be able to see his purse amount on those released documents. There are also many tax benefits of doing it this way.

That's why he says he cant change his deal structure...there are many parties involved...beautiful deal for Floyd.

less than 50/50 could be 51/49 for ego purposes....not 70/30 or 80/20 or any other number that would fall under 50/50 dumb ****

 

Floyd needs to come down from his current business plan and Pac needs to accept he's getting less for the spit to work most likely, but that would require someone actually negotiating a deal on both sides.. Not one side say I'll take less, but not make any offers taking a lesser share.. And not the other side saying my business model makes me X amount, why should I accept anything different..

Both sides ****ed up on this split thing.. Haven't seen anything from either to suggest next time will be better, nor should we expect to since they BOTH have FIGHTS lined up ALREADY!

 

I told yall a while back that Floyd is in control and that 40 mill will start looking real good to Mannys ass. That was just the first crack in his game. He gon break down to Floyds satisfaction and then get his ass beat. Yall better recognize that Floyd Mayweather is a player for life. It might seem unfair to us cause we wanna see the fight and I aint knocking that but you gotta look at it in a different light. Floyd is schooling that little man in the art of boxing business cause he told his ass a few years back that he wasnt getting his just due but he so caught up in the hype that didnt listen. He dont wanna fight Floyd just cause he wanna prove whos the best, he already know the answer to that and it aint him.
