I don't worry about Abe Concepcion. He's the real deal together with Donaire.

I knew it wasnt gonna be an easy fight, as I posted on the Banal-Concepcion vbookie thread.

    The other guy can punch.

    Aj's gonna learn from this.

Glad you guys enjoyed the fight.

I bet for a KO victory but not for rafael... The accumulation of those dirty tactics got the best of AJ... Headbutts, low blows,etc...

banal had nothing left by the tenth.

props to concepcion whose unrelenting body throws paid off eventually..concepcion was also clever enough to withstand banal's early onslaught.

banal's young and i just hope he will be able to bounce back from that loss..

He's only 19 he'll bounce back and now they've found some weakness in Banal's style of fighting i hope they can improve on it...

Also watch out for melindo he's also a good prospect from the phil...

i hope Banal won't end up like Boom2x Bautista or worst Randy Suico who's
only good at winning titles like Asia Pacific.

I've been saying this a year ago! ALA stable needs a ****'n new trainer... their fighters all has the same style... stance, movements, punches and weakness (brawlers and pressure fighters). That's is why i wasn't really into the banal hype, although i consider him as a very good prospect. He needs a new trainer and learn new skills and techniques...

Their style (ALA stable) are only good for amateur boxing...

Just look at Pac fight with hussein. Pac dig deep. Change strategy in the later rds & throw right hooks. Banal should have done the same.

But this is the year of the upset. I'm not surprised. Cotto will be next tonight.

You are just saying that b/c a Cotto win would make him arguably p4p #1. Depends on the fashion.

His corner can't adjust with the situation and still using the same tactic since rd 1. That's why banal folded...
