I noticed when Banal had concepcion in trouble earlier on Concepcion had no trouble keeping away from Banal. He needs to work on cutting the ring off more effectively.

Chin and lack of power in his punches.

Sure-fire recipes for him to become a legit career gatekeeper, at best.

    I thought that was Bautista.

He looked helpless. Hope he can come back and regain his confidence.

AJ Banal is only 19 years old. I'm predicting that he will bounce back and become a world champ one day. His weak points (defense and stamina) can be more developed in the long run.

It was obvious he would never be a top level fighter from the start anyways. Same with Concepcion, who will get stopped the same way as soon as he steps up to a solid C+ pressure fighter.

In just a year or two, PacDBest will have nobody to follow. Donaire will lose, Pac will lose and get older, all of the Pinoy prospects will be stopped.. He'll be stuck watching replays of Pac fights forever.

He can always hitch a ride on the Abner Mares train

IMO, that one will come crashing down too when he steps up to a solid B level pressure fighter. The Marchiano fight said a lot about Mares.

:yikes :yikes :yikes WOW, I mean WOW I watched 9 rounds of this bout and unfortunately had to leave and I thought it's gonna be a clear decision to Banal, clearly the superior boxer in most of the fight... only to read the news he was knocked out in the very next round! WOW!
