No. Both woulod have gone down. And probably stayed down. If that same punch were landed (in proportion to their respective sizes and weights) by Tua on Cobb, Randy would have taken a nap.
:roflatsch No fewer than 4 ESB Titans who are bona fide Chin experts have posted in this thread refuting what you said, and this is how you react. You should be thankful that such Elite have graced your thread to educate you on the importance of punch resistance. :deal
what i am saying is that at first noone expected hearns to be glass jawed. he was a very solid champ until he met leonard. and again until he got sparked off barkley. soon enough he had been stopped 4 times. but up until his 30 oddth fight, he was not seen as glass jawed.
Its weird, people start saying these things about fighters who have never shown any kind of punch resistance problem in 30 odd fights.Williams defended badly and got caught with a perfect punch. In boxing the main aim is to knock the other guy out,pro boxers all know it can happen and to most fighters it does at some point.
Self-proclaimed experts. And more people have agreed with me in this thread than refuted. You guys are delusional.
i am in complete and utter shock that an ignorant, brain washed, delusional minnion like you is talking to esb's poster of the decade with such arrogance and dis-respect atsch 46and0 has donated his precious time to post in your pitiful thread and educated you on punch resistance with cutting edge analysis and in return you continue to troll with your bull**** 'paul williams doesn't have a glass jaw' stance. :-( the evidence is there for everyone to see. paul williams has a china chin that has been brutally cracked open and 46and0 saw it coming. if you take your head out of yer ass for just one second and listen to what these irrepressible chincheckers are saying then you could have taken the bookies to the cleaners instead of living off your social welfare hand outs every week :deal
Paul Williams has been fighting with the same defensive holes his entire career and it finally caught up to him. Nothing more, nothing less. If he does have a good chin, it's still not good enough to fight the way he does.
atschatschatsch In a recent esb poll, 46and0, rico, and myself were all voted into the top 6 esb posters of all time :deal with your comment above you have basically confirmed what i have been saying about gayrayv being an ignorant, narrow minded, delusional minnion :dead gayrayv pwned by HEADBANGER live on esb in front of a global audience of millions wnedarty:hammertime:mj:ldevil
no glass jaw, just some moron posters who think anyone who gets KOed has a glass jaw...that was a nasty nasty shot
We'll see how Williams' whiskers hold up in his next few fights. Let me ask you this - if he gets starched again, will you admit the Chincheckers were correct??
Duran got caught cold by Hearns, does he have a glass chin? Of course not, this is boxing, one of the ways to lose is by knockout, it is possible with anyone. Lennox Lewis got caught twice, he avenged both, does he have a glass jaw? Hatton was considered very durable but now he's labeled this. I find very uneducated among fans to say someone is glass jawed just because he got KO'd. Back in Britain we had Kevin Mitchell who was seen as good punch resistance got blown away by Katsidis, what does this mean? Look deeper to each fight, saying someone has a glass jaw takes away some of the victory to the winner!
