    I'm saying we should treat each fight/KO individually, that is all, that is opposite to ignorant/delusional.

    I understand Martinez has a low KO% when compared to others, but that does not mean he doesn't hit hard. He is now up at middleweight, took the fight to Pavlik and caught Williams cold, look at Pacman's punch power at higher weights.

    All I'm saying with Duran was he got knocked out in 2 by a great fighter, not saying anything else, he got beat. I'm comparing Martinez with Hearns or anything, that is my point, look at each individually.

    It will absolutely depend on how and by whom.

    You didn't own **** moron, I was reffering to your relentless obsession with glass jaws. You may have been voted into a poll, but I've read countless threads where whenever one of you jackasses brings up some glass jaw bull****, a majority of people in that thread disagree. You don't make any compelling points in an arguement, but you clearly have a handle on emoticons.

    What if it's some other fighter with a 50 percent KO percentage?

    Again, it will have to be situation specific.

    :lol::lol::rofl:rofl

    Headbanger has absolutely clowned gayrayv in front of a global audience of millions. :deal I fully expect gayrayv to tender his ESB resignation shortly after such a merciless mauling.

    On a side note, the imminent release of 'Glass Jaws II: Staying Shattered' will irrefutably prove once and for all that Glass Jaws exist in boxing. :deal:bbb:happy

    Glass jaw is something which can be taken at some point and will never be left afterward.

    The best example is Jones Jr who used to have sold jaw while now he might be knocked out by flying mosquito .... the guys who become suspicious of having this type of income are Floyd Mayweather and Paul Williams.

    There are other types of boxers who were born with glass jaw but they learns how to prevent it form breaking: Wlad Klitchko and Amir Khan.

    You're hedging your bets. I'll call it as I see it. Williams gets laid out cold again, and it will be virtually impossible to deny he has a glass jaw!

    Once, you can argue it might be a fluke. More than once, that's a pattern.

    I don't want to seem like I'm ducking the bet, but without knowing the opponent there's no way to say. But I don't think that another KO ultimatley spells that out, the circumstances have to be weighed in. And I do agree that there are figthers out there who can't take a punch, (I agree with your post about Litzau this weekend for instance), I just don't think PW is one of them. And I'm trying to understand how this one KO defines that. You have to at least admit that was an electric punch he hit him with, and he didn't see it coming which is always a major factor. I also want to point out that I've never once said that Williams defence doesnt' suck because it does. His offense was usually his defence. But a bad defence and/or being a KO waiting to happen doesn't automatically equate to a shaky chin. You could actually argue he has a good chin based on him having bad defence and this being his first KO loss after so many fights. No?

    Paul Williams never had the IRON CHIN like many of his fans would boast he had. We all saw how fighters could buzz him with a good shot, but we also saw the heart Williams had too to stay always up, and not go down.

    After the perfect shot PW took on Saturday, I bet inside he was still trying to get up, that's why his eyes were still wide open.

    Well, we're not that far apart, really, just approaching from different perspectives. IMO, the jury's still out on Williams chin. You could be right, maybe it is a fluke, and maybe Williams chin isn't as bad as it looked. OR, I could be right and it could be shaky, perhaps even glass.

    The bottom line where we both agree is that more evidence is necessary to draw a clear conclusion about Williams' punch resistance. From my perspective it's shaky until proven otherwise, and I suppose you take the reverse perpective. We shall see!:thumbsup
