    Not surprised. After all, we saw the bandaged knuckle before the fight.

    I wonder how many fighters actually walk into the ring 100% healthy. With the rigorous training required to compete at that level, I'd guess not many.

    If so you have to admire Donaire....even if Dwyer is making excuses for a shitty pick lol.

    I actually believe it's commonplace for fighters to walk into fights less than 100%....it's even hard to believe that ANY fighter is actually 100%...there may be some average 85-95% going on simply due to the rigors of training, natural bodily functions, tiredness (lack of sleep) from promoting, training and traveling, fatigue from making weight, bloating from putting weight back on, etc.

    He needs to stop for a while and take good care of his hands. The speed and power is just too much for his body. He might have hurt his leg a bit as well or he cam close to it.
    He needs to wind down with the power. He has the speed and skills to win fights.
