I think Atlas is right, but at this point povetkin needs to fight or give up the #1 spot. If they dont fight in December, this will be the 2nd delay from Povetkin. Time to move on IMO. I dont really see how only 1 more fight will all of a sudden make Povetkin ready

    in all the terms!
WBA belt situation would be clear, Behemoth would finally go to sing rap and to the movie industry, Ruiz would be gone after the first mandatory fight, Haye would have some time to improve as a HW and earn some bucks and respect.

I don't think Valuev has the balls to face Vitali. He took the easier route with Haye. Didn't he?:hey

After refusing to make good on his mandatory status, its only the fact that Povetkin is one of the few upper tier heavyweights they haven't already beat, that keeps him in play.

not yet  he tried, yes. but I'm sure that when Ruiz came it gave him such a headache that now he'd easily agree on a bout with Vitaly just to get rid of those Ruiz-Chag-Holy problems))

how can arreola not be ready for a late sept fight? its almost 2 months? he wasnt ready in may when wlad spanked chagaev....i guess he doesnt run an inch unless he has something signed....you dont see the klits walking around in between fights with guts...or for that matter during a fat...ts called being a "professional"

  11. It would be interesting to see VK fight someone 6 inch taller than him and 70 lbs heavier, VK may win on points 'maybe" but he aint knocking him out..

well looking at the rankings seriously... Maskeav come up as the most viable opponent if Arreola doens't want to go. Would be rather ammusing since Vitali just got out of court to keep that fight from happening. Other fighters that could be considered.

Ruiz- Sure why not... woudlnt' be fun to watch but maybe we get to see Ruiz KO'd.
Chambers- would be fun to watch while it lasted, doubt Chambers will do it, since he's already Wlad manditory and woudlnt' get as good of a deal since manditories you get a better split.
Mehan- Should be Valuev's manditory, looks to be getting a raw deal. Fought to get his position, yet isn't that well known. Could be a decent fight. He has size and isn't busy. After Maskaev, Id pick him as the best pick.
Boytsov- Alittle early, just stepped up to fight good comp recently. Doubt he'd jump in.
Brewster- ah, might be ok. Probably be pretty one sided. I bet Brewster woudl do it.
Sosnowski- Good fighter, but no one knows who he is.. Would it sell?
Pianeta- Massive power. kinda new, not enough experience. No one knows him. Will be fighting Skelton..

Pretty much based on who is busy and who would be considered a legit fight, I'd say it is between Maskaev, Mehan and Ruiz.
