Now that Berto has pulled out, I actually wouldn't mind Pac vs Ortiz

    I know Ortiz hasn't done anything to deserve a shot at Pacquiao, especially after what he did in the Mayweather fight. But I do think style wise it could be a good fight, especially as Freddy said they have had some great sparring sessions. So victor knows Manny well so shouldn't be a nut case and could give us a good fight!

    The only way Victor can win is by coming forward we know that Manny likes fighters to come forward so it should make for exciting viewing (while it lasts) :bbb

    The whole world is watching Victor now so he knows he has to deliver a good performance or he will be forever dogged by fans that he is everything we accused him of being......(nut case, hype job, loser etc etc) which should mean he puts in the performance of his life?

    Although I dont like Bradley very much I do think he deserves the shot much more than Ortiz and JMM deserves it more than any one (even if he will never get a decision no matter what he does)

    But just from the perspective of boxing giving us a decent, exciting action packed fight I think this is a fairly good option.

    What do you think? Would you be interested in letting Victor leap frog other more deserving opponents for Manny just so we can get a good fight?

    Terrible idea in my opinion. Ortiz' aggressive style is tailor made for Pacquiao who would overpower him early and knock him out in 2 rounds at most. It's a fun fight for the public but proves nothing. I'd rather see Pacquiao vs Bradley or Cotto II but not Ortiz.

    Really Scar? You see Ortiz who weighed 160+ on fight night being K.O'd in two rounds but you don't see Bradley fight (who weighs much less than Ortiz, and packs much less power) going a similar way?

    OK. I respect your opinion.

    Bradley's style isn't one easy to bombard through. Bradley doesn't fight like Ortiz, Bradley is a smart fighter in the ring who has decent movement, defense and very good speed. Ortiz could get reckless as proven numerous times. If Maidana was able to knock him out then you can just imagine what Pacquiao would do based on styles.

    Besides, weight means nothing compared to fighting style. He could weigh in 199 fight night and still if he's open enough he's getting his lights knocked out fighting someone in Pacquiao's caliber.

    I think you are right in the Ortiz fight could be over quickly but I think it would be action packed while it lasted. Plus he should be pretty determined so should make for a great show.

    I think the Bradley fight will be pretty dull until he gets his head caved in...or it gets stopped on a cut.

    Don't forget that not only does Bradley possess a difficult style, he also headbutts often and Pacquiao's prone to cuts. So that's extra drama right there almost guaranteed in that fight. Ortiz is a pointless fun fight at best, zero threat there.

    would love it, i feel he matches up far better stylistically then Bradley moving up in weight.

    Way better fight than Bradley! Would love to see Ortiz and Pac fight. They've sparred and Pac knows Ortiz is good. Can't see daddy Arum letting it happen, but damn that would be sick.

    if they are able to make this fight, what does that say for floyd and arum? i personally like ortiz to finally fight his grudge match against rios. rios is also training for a fight, and he can't make 135 anymore. however, i think rios is also an arum hoe.

    pac will win, BUT BUT, there will be the RARE moment when pacquiao gets knocked down by a stiff left cross, right uppercut combo by ortiz...
