Now that both Pacquaio and Mayweather are retired lets assess their careers

I don't see why these hardcore Pac fans have an issue with Pacquiao being the 2nd best of his era/generation. Great fighter regardless of what Mayweather accomplished.

But Mayweather is the greater fighter. No doubt about it. They can whine all they want, but according to ESPN Floyd is the greatest fighter in the last 25 years. You're not going to find any legitimate historian argue with that.

"Fighter of the last Quarter Century" > "Fighter of the Decade" - That's how the cookie crumbles as they say. Too emotionally invested in this guy. They need to cool it and take a deep breath. It's ok, Pac is a great fighter regardless if he wasn't greater than Mayweather.

I'm a huge Paulie Malignaggi fan. By their sensitive standard, I should hate half of all the fighters to ever crack the top 10 at JWW or WW during his career!

I love Carlos Monzon and will argue on my deathbed that he's the best and most accomplished Middleweight in history. Do I have to hate and discredit Robinson or Hagler because of that? Of course not.

Honestly, Pacquiao fans don't come across like Pacquiao fans. They come across like Mayweather haters... It's a shame. They don't realize it but they bring down any celebration of their idol.
