Can anyone one else beat B-Hop at 175.....Dawson is a nice guy and young, big but green next to B-Hop....I like Jermaine Taylor, fast, got power but will he be effective at 175...there are also a few sleepers in the batch.......Will there be a dominant champ at 175...Dawson,B-hop, are the favorites but oviously there is talent in the ranks...Thoughts and picks

    Its Dawson's division.

Joe recently stated he retired because theres no big fights out there.

I translate that as "I do not want to fight Chad Dawson"

I agree. It is Dawson's Division for the taking.

Dawson is the obvious choice, but Johnson is still in the mix as is Cloud and Diaconu, Id like a box off to see a new champ crowned.

As for Erdeis claim, i will be ignoring it.

Then you cant translate worth a ****.

As talented as he is, he cant sell tickets. No-one knows him in the States let alone over here. The old Risk/Reward and Money still rules. Even if we dont like it.

Dawson, but Calzaghe will come back in 2010 and UD him, and retire again as a top 50 atg

Dawson was a big-ish fight on ESB and would be a good win for Joe, but it wasnt/isnt a massive fight and Joe would have to wait a long time for the Dawson/Tarver thing to be sorted.

I wouldnt have midind Calzaghe - Taylor is cardiff, in fact I was almost certain that was the fight that would be made but I dont think it has made too much difference to his record overrall.

Calzaghe is a dip for not fighting Dawson, thats a fight he would win by 116-112 margin, and cementing atg status

After beating Kessler, Hopkins and Jones, why would an unknown like Chad Dawson be the clincher???

Chad Dawson will rule 175 lbs. He beats Hopkins by UD 12, KO's Taylor, and beats the rest by either KO or UD 12.

    On here.

In the real world it would have been viewed as step to soon for Dawson and he was green. Thats if Chad went on to do as we excpect. And thats only if the decision was wide.

Anything closer would have been Hometown decision,Robbery etc.

All for rubbish money and no aclaim from a wide audience.

Or they would just say, so what, Johnson beat him aswell and Tarver is shot to ****.

We might of loved the fight on here, but realisticaly it's at least a year away.

I'd actually favor Dawson slightly, I think his speed and workrate will give him problems like Calzaghe's did.
