Now that CBZ has recognised Wlad as the lineal champion

There is no debating that Wladimir Klitschko is the World's Heavyweight Champion. He's the champ for sure.

Vitali was lineal. He beat Corrie Sanders for the WBC and Ring/Lineal titles. That's where people got the idea from. I'm not even a Klitschko fan but it's true. Vitali beat Sanders who was the top contender at the time. The Ring and Lineal titles were merged since the the days of Lennox Lewis as they had been before the ended their championship policy. If the 2 top contenders fight,they can creat a new lineal champion if the old champ (Lewis) retired.

 

That's what worlds HW champ means bro. Vitali is A world champ,Wlad is THE world champ. Lineal yes.

 

Sanders was never #2, Byrd was. Hence Vitali was another fake Ring champion.

 

Sanders beat Wlad and Vitali beat sanders.Vitali was the Ring champ.

 

And Vitali was never Lineal champion. Vitali and Byrd were universally rated #1 and 2.

If Vitali was ever considered lineal champion for losing to Lewis, beating Corrie Sanders and Danny Williams then retiring I think Wladimir has more than earned it. On the strength of recent performances I don't see the argument anymore for Vitali being the better fighter today, he's obviously slowed alot and isn't as sharp, Wlads still about on top of his game, and expecting brothers to fight is pretty stupid anyway. If they did I'd say fair play to them for settling the issue but expecting people to put brotherly ties aside for money, particularily when they've got plenly of money anyway, is daft, it ain't going to happen.
