your right. If a guy says 'im pretty sure i can get it up' it usually means that he'll have to pop a couple viagra and pray that it works in time. Same thing for Cotto fighting PBF. I think he is doing all this "calling out" to start the publicity for the fight. Hopefully he gets his skills up by the time it comes around.

This will only put more pressure on a 2009, or maybe 2010, fight between Mayweather and Cotto.

Maybe this was all orchestrated. Arum and Mayweather told Cotto to speak because it was the right time. This was all planed by the three of them.

After beating Cotto, Mayweather will have a great resume: Genaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales, Jesus Chavez, Zab Judah, Jose Luis Castillo x2, Oscar de la Hoya x2, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto.

imagine how great cotto's resume would be when he beats mayweather, he would have: quintana, torres, malignaggi, urkal, judah, mosley, margarito/cintron, mayorga, mayweather.

No no according to his fans he was too green to fight Mayweather. Which is why I don't understand how people can say Floyd is ducking him.

at the time mayweather challenged him, cotto only had 20 fights, a win at that time would have meant nothing, cotto was only something like 22 or 23 years old.
