Regardless of whether you thought he faked the KO against Abraham, with all the **** going on afterwards, pulling out of the SuperSix to avoid Ward because of his supposed concussions, confirmed by Dr. No (or who?), and then immediately looks for a new opponent?

I have to say that I really, really liked his performance against Abraham. There have been boxers who took rounds off him, but Miranda aside, none of them really damaged and controlled him the way Dirrel did. Who knows what would've happened without the DQ, but I do know that it's my favorite boxer vs puncher fight of 2010.. :smoke

With all that in mind, it sucks that Dirrel seems to sort of lack heart in some departments..:-(

    nope

he's only interesting to watch against elite competition and doesnt deserve a big fight.
I knew he was going to come back despite how the injury was being built as a possible career ender from his team. I just didnt know it would be so soon. Barely a month since he pulled out and now he wants to come back? What happened to the he cant box unless he doesnt feel any symptoms for 3 months according to "Dr. Shaw-Hi"?

This just further proves that he was faking against AA.

I think he's lost all credibility with the majority of boxing fans and it's going to be very difficult to get it back. He doesn't deserve a big fight anytime soon, so I'm not really sure what he can do to get people to believe in him.

Right now, I think it's fair to say that fans have more respect for Kermit Cintron.

Cintron pulled a similar stunt a few years back by pulling out of his scheduled bout with Williams due to a supposed hand injury but proceeded to call out virtually every welter with the exception of Williams as soon as Williams committed to fight Quintana.

Considering all of his antics since then, Cintron represents the bottom of my 'respect for boxers' meter.

I thought he needed to be symptom free for 3 months before they would even consider a fight? I hope that the commission takes a good look at him. Claiming this kind of injury should not be taken lightly.

Just like i always said. It was all bull****. Just like the AA fake KO that was bull**** aswel.

Andre Dirrell is just a pathetic coward bullshitter. This HAS to go down as the biggest duck of all time. How can he even dare show his face in a boxing ring ever again.

His career should be over. He should NEVER fight on TV ever again. He truly is a disgrace and the worst liar and coward and ****** iv ever seen in boxing.

He fought like a terrible ****** quuer against Froch and stunk the entire place out...THEN he had to fake being illegally KO'd in the AA THEN he pulls this **** to duck his boyfriend Ward.

He really needs to go and fight with the women boxers instead, but iv more respect for THEIR bravery and sportsmanship and ability over his

Considering Froch-Abraham was delayed for 3 or 4 months if memory serves me right, there is absolutely no excuse. If he needed 3 months then he would've gotten them, especially if the alternative was that he pussied out of the tournament.

The Interesting thing about Camp 360 is you get to meet the two sides of Andre Dirrell.

Dirrell I- The immature boy from Flint that "acts a fool" (his own words)

Dirrell II- The Humble version that seems to make fans forget that ten minutes ago he was dancing around at the press conference going for Tyson's curse word record.

That being said... The Abraham fight will always be in question. from all the camera angles it looks like Dirrell knew what he was doing but than again... it wasn't me or you that got hit with that.

Listening to Shaw on the possible career threatening injury he does seem sincere in fact the pull out is legit.. but than again it's his job to keep his fighters stock up.

either way.... I hope for the best because at points on the show he does show he's a good guy and I think he's very entertaining inside the ring.

Even tho I'm a big fan of Abraham, Dirrell was making me a fan of his with his performance that night. It was pretty damn good, he was boxing well, not doing too much running, and focusing on EFFECTIVE ring generalship while engaging.

But after the fight, his conduct was atroicious. I remember thinking the same thing after the Froch fight, where his entourage was bitching like crazy. Anyway, bottom line, I'm completely done with this cat. I was teetering on actually liking this dude, until this whole Ward-gate **** started happening. Now I don't care, and I probably won't watch him again, unless there's a good chance he gets KTFO.

He is a *****,I hope he loses his next fight and just disappears from boxing.I can fully understand Jermain pulling out(though I wish he had not)and the same with Kess but Dirrel has just taken the ****.He saw a defeat coming and just bottled it.
