Now that Hatton has retired...

    Yeah, the Hatton lovefest was nauseating for many years. I just never saw why people thought he was an exceptional fighter. I think he was a good fighter, but he was limited. I think his best asset was his ability to close distance and get in a fighter's chest. But, once he got there, it's not like he all of the sudden became a great in-fighter. He might've been a good in-fighter with lesser opposition, but not when he stepped up the comp. And like I already mentioned, I truly believe he and his team chose his opponents carefully for basically his entire career.

    Just being objective...and curious. Since he's retired, I'm wondering if there has been any change of heart about his career in retrospect. Obviously you're still delusional.

    I like the guy but I was never really even a fan, so what do you think I'm delusional about? I just think this is a sad, ****y little thread. That's all.
