Now that Robert Helenius has leap-frogged into the WBO’s #1 slot from the #13 position after his decision win over Sherman “Tank” Williams, whom should he fight in his next two outings?

And what do you thing of the 12 place jump?

I noticed his jump up the ranks rather odd, I'd like to see him fight Pulev doubt it would happen though, Pulev wins that by wide UD IMO, maybe the loser of Arreola vs Stiverne?

Those positions at WBO ranks dont mean much at this current situtiation Sir Will Wigan.

The next stop will be EBU title I am 99% sure about it and propably even tune up fight before going for the EBU.. Sauerland has already planned it this way and it would have been the same with out those setbacks. They are playing time for Klitschkos leaving there sport.

But if he should fight someone then propably Boytsov.

    one of these:

    1) rematch with Chisora

    2) Fury/Johnson winner

    3) Chagaev/Perez winner

An offer of a rematch to Chisora is the only correct thing to do.

He should fight a journeyman with a losing record, no need to rush this kid and ruin him.

  8. So was the Tank ranked at #1? or was he even top 5?? I doubt it. in fact I bet he only scrapes in to the top 100 in the world.

All great fights, but I'd rather see him vs Johnson or chagaev, win or lose coming out of those fights.....and vs Boystov.

Ole Robert cashed out already it appears...the power is gone after the injury. He was gunshy because of it in the Chisora fight, and he just dont look the same. it's Ashame that injuries break fighters but I dont know if he has devastating punch power after the recovery regardless what they say.

I don't think I remember him sitting on a single R hand vs Tank.

Could be though that because Williams constantly gives the top of head, Robbe was afraid to rebreak those metacarpals. Not wanting to risk a quick turn around for another fight before 2012 is out?:think

Tank is such a short fighter too.......yeah, it's highly possible that early in the fight Robbe was instructed to just box for a decision, stay out of harms way, and avoid by all means, hitting Tank on top his head.:think

    That's an interesting thought.

Still, gunshy is gunshy, no matter what the reason. If that reservation never goes away, no matter who the opponent, then Helenius is finished.

Personally, I think he just didn't care. He didn't take Tank seriously, didn't train much, and just showed up to collect his paycheck. Note that he also has a deadly left (ask Sam Peter!) but didn't throw IT that much, either.

A re-match with Chisora would tell us everything we need to know. It's the obvious fight.

I dont really get how he jumps 12 spots to #1 by beating Sherman "THE JOURNEYMAN" Williams

williams unrated and a journeyman at this point of his career . But this is boxing.... anything and everything can happen

I agree. Didn't Chisora retire, though?
