yeah, Duran is a flashpoint, and so is any old-timer.

 

This is fair, but is there a win on Manny's record as good as Duran's win over SSL?

 

He needs to beat mayweather fotr that to be close, honestly though that fight could have gone either way although duran edged it. I think resumewise it is possible to make a case for pac above duran.

 

Look at the list of opponents for Pac

Marquez (around top 75 atg)
Morales (just outside top 100)
Barrera ( top 100)
Oscar (just in top 100)

This are his 4 best opponents... with the note that Oscar was old and dreighned and he lost to morales once and drew and had a questionable decision against marquez...

He looks spectecular.. But his resume ain't all that great imo...

ok maybe i'm a bit unfair towards oscar.. point i was trying to make is that Pac haven't fought a top 50 or maybe even top 75 all time p4p....
Other problem i have with him are that, while some could say he has 8 worldchampionships, it is more realistic to say that his only legit worldchampionships were at 122 and 130..

If you campare these things to other all time greats, SRR, SRL, Duran, Ali, Louis, Armstrong, Charles, Moore, Benny L, Greb, etc etc etc... I think it is safe to say that he doesn't belong in that group yet...
He needs to beat a few legit 140/147 pounders... And Beating Floyd would put him straight towards the top 10 imo..

Cause Floyd would be that top 50 P4P/ maybe even top 30 fighter he would beat...
