How do we remember the career of Kovalev

it not actually a win, just a razor sharp loss that can easily be a draw or a razor sharp win.

though i personally woud have given Krusher the nod by a hairline.- because of my preference for skilled aggression.

Probably a top 40 all-time light heavyweight based on accomplishments, and a bit better than that if the sole criteria is head to head.

He should have won the first Ward fight, but the judges took it from him, adversely affecting his legacy.

The Ward fight was close, not an unofficial victory. It was as close as JMM's fights with Norwood, John, Pac and Bradley. Plus he has official victories over Gainer, Medina, Peden, Salido, MAB, Juarez, Casamayor, Diaz, Katsidis and Alvarado.

Either way JMM isn't a LHW so he has no place in this thread tbh. A better comparison would be Kovalev and Conteh.

Yah. Golovkin doesn’t fight people and now that the middleweight division has better fighters his true colors are exposed. Kovalev fought better people.

Hill was better than Kovalev. I don't rate Ward too high to be honest. I don't think he has had a complete legendary career.

If you wanna discuss Golovkin make a thread about him. This is about LHW fighters and more specifically Kovalev

Hill was better than almost every boxer, but he'd get sparked in the ring against Kovalev.

Ward is an elite talent for me. One of the best of the modern era.
