Now that Lomachenko has said that he will prioritize defense, will we c another PBF?

Wonder if he'll get many more American fans that way. They seem to be the only people that openly celebrate defence, I figured after watching NBA back in the day.

    DEFENCE! DEFENCE! DEFENCE! :happy:patriot

America appreciates real challenges. That's why Floyd always sold a lot of ppvs and why GG who you guys say has incredible offense can't sell flies to ****.

America will always like guys like Kov and Loma. Talk is talk. You can say that you'll do this and that more, but that's just talk. A good opponent will change your thinking real quick. Winning is all that matters.

    Nope

nothing better then a offensive fighter who does not need to even up his mouth to get people to pay to watch him fight

I takes much more that "wanting to" in order to be a PBF.

No boxer untill now has had the skills and the boxing IQ to be able to reach floyd's level. You need years and years of experience in the ring too in order to achieve that.

No Loma will not be the next PBF, at least in the next future. Not becuase he doesn't want to (I don't know if he wants to or not), just because he cannot.

A passive approach will benefit Martinez. Loma should do his own thing and punish the **** out of Martinez´ body.
    Body shot KO :fire

He needs to perfect his defense as he moves up to face bigger men this will serve him well in the long run. His offense with exception of his inside fighting is excellent already.

That's so true, because offense-minded boxers never win championships.
