JMM should take this one. Hatton's style of fighting is what JMM loves.

Both guys are certainly capable of hurting each other.

It's an interesting match up that I would have to take some time to think about before making any predictions.

Hatton could be way too strong for JMM but he has the weight issue

Hatton has been stopped 2 times in the last 2 years or so. What would be the big accomplishment if Marquez stopped him. This fight goes along with Marquez and the way he fights guys at the right time.

I didn't know they've agreed to the fight yet....should be interesting. Floyd-Pac co-main??? anyways I'd be pleasantly surprised if Ricky Hatton could defeat JMM

I agree he cherry-picked Pac twice, and Mayweather too. Beating Casamayor and Juan Diaz was meaningless, he should have went after the true lineal champ, which was David Diaz.

I don't know....lots of questions here...I could easily see marquez countering hatton....but I think hatton is a better pressure fighter then juan diaz...and might not allow marquez to get anything off...allowing hatton to win an ugly decision...

I lean towards hatton, because I just think marquez is out of his league above 135....135 is pushing as it is....he was rocked by juan diaz....and put down by mayweather...

JMM is gonna get revenge for Castillo, make this fight happen. If JMM comes in at 138 hell be fast and furious. Not an easy fight by any means but if 3 Kd's from Pac didnt stop him, nothing is gonna stop him against Hatton.

If Hatton jumps in with his hooks and jabs face-first the way he did against Pacquiao, Juan Manuel Marquez will eat him alive. He got away with it against Malignaggi because of his lack of punching power, but Pacquiao made him pay dearly. Marquez would do the same with his innate and outstanding counter-punching ability.

If Hatton roughs Marquez up and fights a close, brawling fight on the inside and outmuscles Marquez the way he did Tszyu, and rips those hooks to the body, he stands a chance.

why have this fight?....I think both guys could be in more meaningful fights....sounds like both just want a pay-day....

can hatton even make 140, safely?
