Hatton UD. Seeing how much JMM struggled with Juan Diaz at 135. Hatton is much faster, stronger, more powerful than Juan Diaz. JMM at 126/130 was great, 135 was good, over that I dont think he can do much.

For what month next year has this one been agreed? That of significence because will ned ample time to shift what looks to be a massive amount of weight!

Ricky must be about 45lbs over 140lbs atm. He will need minimum of three months, perhaps four, to lose the weight safely!

Im going for JMM is this one! Not sure who's going to win, but both will probably engane in battle & that will further damamge each guy's chances of lasting just that little bit longer in the sport!

For what its worth, if Hatton wins, he will box on & as delusional as it sounds, Ricky will try secure a rematch with winner of Mayweather-Pacquiao or fight Khan!

I'll go with Hatton. If he can close the gap and rough JMM up he will win, but JMM is a very good counter puncher so it will be a really tough fight for Hatton.

I know Marquez may have already filled into 140, but just based on all similar oponents that they fought I think Hatton has big strength advantage and could bully Marquez to ropes and take his heart, none clinching oponents are tailor made for Hatton (IMO) and Juan rarely clinches.

JMM by KO. Rickys going to be weight drained at his "natural" weight. Either way Rick was never that good to begin with and should be quick work for.Juan

As far as the weight issue.. Everyone is making a big deal about Ricky's current weight... He has in the last few years blown up 30-40 lbs between fights... He'll make the weight and look like ****. That being said, as much as I like Marquez, I think he's on the slide and unproven at 140. 50/50 fight to me!!

The strength thing I dont buy into. Hatton is strong, but that the idea that his physical strength gives him a great advantage has been thrown out the window as of late.

JMM is strong also, and while has handspeed is average, he can still punch and is still a great boxer. He also has a chin. Floyd Jr may have average power for a welterweight, but JMM fought for 12, while Hatton got stopped in 10. JMM can take Hattons best shots

Hatton's chin has degraded, too many hard fights, and he has done a **** poor job taking care of his health

Hatton may not be "Shot", but he has certainly declined by this point. JMM has far more left in the tank than Hatton does, and he will beat him.

Marquez is a horrific style matchup for Hatton as well. Hatton has terrible defensive habits, lunging in with hands dropped, keeping his gloves below his chin, dropping his left to throw a right, leaving the right of his torso open to hooks

Hatton doesnt have a size advantage or a reach advantage. His strength advantage doesnt mean much. Marquez hardly ever ties up and excels at fighting on the back foot

Marquez has a solid enough jab to keep things even, and once he starts timing ricky and recognizes his lapses, he will have a field day countering him.

Oh jesus, Hatton is gonna get uppercutted to death. I just realized how he stick his chin out when punching.

Easier fight for JMM than people think. JMM is a master counterpuncher-boxer. Fighters like Hatton he takes apart. JMM isnt slick, but his style is as equally problematic

Hattons resume will become legendary compared to Calzaghe if he takes this fight. His resume will include the best in boxing : Pacquiao, Mayweather, Tzyu, Castillo, JMM.
