Miguel Angel Cotto and Pacman are without a doubt the 2 best fighters in boxing.

    Agree or disagree?

I agree that their level of competition has been better than most of the other fighters out there - which should make them the best. But given what Joe Calzaghe has done over his career - I would still place him above Cotto.

Now if Cotto beats Margarito down - I'll place him above JC.

If the young lady in your avatar was boxing then she would without a doubt be boxings best. :)

Yes, Cotto and Pac are the top guys, and best of all , they're both guys who fight everybody out there.

It's the "without a doubt" part I object to.

People could have damn good arguments for Calzaghe, Vasquez, and possibly even Pavlik for being top 2. Personally, I have Pacquiao and Calzaghe 1/2, with Cotto at #4 (Vasquez at 3).

Good points but no way Cotto is behind Izzy. Will you still have him behind Izzy after he destroys Margo, Oscar, Then Paul Williams next year?

JMM is a better fighter/boxer then Manny Pac. He proved it twice. Sometimes a lesser fighter can get a decision victory over a superior fighter but it is evident in the ring who is better....this is one of those cases.

He outboxed pac for the majority of both fights. He had the cleaner punches landed and controlled the pace. He is the better fighter. If it wasn't for that flash knockdown he would have won. A flash knockdown that did no damage but scored points. In boxing using the system they use I agree with the decision, but looking at the fight objectively and trying to make a judgement on who is better I would say the shot that ROCKED pacman (I believe in the 3rd round) was much more devastating and did more damage then Pacs short hook that dropped JMM. Just my opinion. Pac was seriiously buzzed from that shot. JMM never looked dazed.

I don't think Hopkins won either fight with Jermain based on the 10pt must system, but I rarely hear anybody argue that he ISN'T the better fighter between the 2.

Not to mention that JMM is the naturally smaller man....and this is a P4P ranking.
