He basically has to. And for those of you say that this is a *******'s worst nightmare, well I might just be merely a pacfan...but I can't wait for this fight. the first time I saw this on ESPN I thought the same thing you guys thought Berto stepped aside for money/ his manager told him etc. What do you guys think, May or March? I think May 1st. Winner vs. Pac in September (one can hope, no?)

what people who claim Berto took step aside are forgetting is that he lost eight family members

read the article I found via ESPN, and yes the whole card is off as well.

I ain't claiming anything, dude...just saying that's the first thing that came to my cynical boxing mind. My heart and prayers go out to Berto and his family and all those affected by this tragedy. your family> a boxing match...always.

Smoke much weed???? Mosley would take Pac's head off, which is the reason that the name Shane never came out of thier mouth.

Pac isnt a lock for ****. The winner of this fight will jump him, mark my words. That catchweight **** will come back and catch Pac. asking for Clottey to fight at 145 is a ****ing joke. this guy is a welterweight belt holder, if any other champ at any other weight was asking for a catchweight fight to defend his belt he would be getting laughed out of boxing.

Assuming it does are you game for a 1 month avatar bet?

I mean you are pretty confident Mosley would beat Mayweather right?

Why do you guys love speculation? I just accept Berto's reasons. Anyway this is a golden opportunity for Floyd. Upstage Pac-Clottey, Im sure this one will be the bigger PPV fight and reclaim WW lineage. He can have more leverage if ever Pac-May will happen later. He must make this fight!:happy

This is the only option if he wants to outdo Pac.

I so hope that it does.

I hate to say it, but yeah--I have my doubts.

I think Mosley will continue to be stuck on the outside looking in.

Yes. Let me get my bets situated before making a formal agreement.

Yes, Floyd knows this is the only fight that the fans will approve...LOL Now I wonder if the Olympic style drug testing will be a issue here?

According to WHO??? One report says that its 145, then they come back and say NO its at 147, then the next day they say, No its 145.

No excuse for a guy holding a belt at a weight then demanding that guys fight him for that belt at less then the alotted weight.

Defend it all you want, this fight will be at 145, and even if they say in the media that the fight is at 147 watch Clotteys weight and see dont he come in at 145:good Just like Oscar did.

    *******s are blind as ****:patsch
