Unfortunately, I must treat this fight like the Zelenoff/Hartley fight; I won't believe it's actually happening until I see both guys in the ring. That said, IF it happens, I will assume Vitali is in prime form and will beat Sam Peter in the same convincing manner that he beat Danny Williams.
Yes, but both men were practically journymen, Williams was until he knocked out a an old, injured Tyson, Sanders was best known for his win over Tubbs, until he beat Wlad, he was Journeymen as well. Johnson was highly skilled, as well as ranked at the time, but he came into that fight as fat and outshape as can be, and payed for it, since that match he has done nothing to prove he was anything special. Peter is an overall better fighter than Sanders or Williams, Johnson never amounted to anything and proved he had little heart or work ethic by melting against Vitali in there match.
If the fight takes place in October, I consider Peter the favourite. Actually, it's a pure guess to predict who is going to win. But on the scheduled date, Klitschko won't have been in a boxing match for almost four years, he's injury prone, and at the age of 37 he has his best years behind him. Sam Peter is young, physically in his best years, he's motivated and willing to prove himself as a true champion. His carreer has just begun, while Klitschko has started a new carreer in a completely different domain. I expect Klitschko to have declined physically and technically while he himself is convinced to be as good as he used to be when he was WBC champion. This could be his downfall.
