Now That Team Pac Holds All the Cards, Should They Even Give Mayweather the Fight?

With the embarrassing revelation that Team Mayweather representative Richard Schaefer hypocritically asked Manny Pacquiao to take heightened drug testing when Schaefer kept admitted drug cheat Shane Mosley from doing the same testing, Team Pacquiao now holds all the cards on the table and both sides know it.

Two results have already come from this shocking development. First, Team Hypocrite, er, Mayweather, has backed off of their ridiculous attempt to have Pacquiao submit to the stringent USADA testing requirements. Second, Team Pac has said they will only abide by testing conducted by the sanctioning body with jurisdiction for the fight, the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).

In short, Team Pacquiao has Team Mayweather by the family jewels and, if they want, Team Pacquiao could: Walk away from the fight and have the public correctly feel Team Mayweather's absurd, hypocritical and unfounded testing request killed the bout; still file a defamation lawsuit against the Mayweathers and further damage the Mayweathers' reputation (if that's possible at this point); and, finally, ask for even more concessions (like purse split) from Team Mayweather to make amends on the sorry series of events which led the negotiations to their present state.

If I were Team Pacquiao, I would, at minimum, be looking to take a chunk of the purse for the total bullsh*t that Team Mayweather pulled. Team Mayweather tried to punk Team Pac and ended up, instead, punking themselves. I'm sure Team Pacquiao is not feeling particularly generous at this point, either.

Yes. Throw away the fight. **** the fans...

Why does it seem more and more obvious that the Floyd fans are dieing to see this but those who side with Pac aren't really killing to see this fight as much?

Why would anyone even want Pac to not fight Floyd. Should he not fight Floyd? WTF... yes let the steroid hysteria explode even more.

Never as fun to negotiate once you've lost your leverage, as has Team Hypocrite. When the other guy has you by the balls, it becomes much less enjoyable.

Too bad Team Mayweather walked into that "check hook," isn't it?

You know, as much as I'm wanting the fight...I would probably laugh if Pacquiao just retired outright like Mayweather did...then comeback two years later and ask to fight Koki Kameda at 140. Just 'cause.

Ha ha ha! I like FarmBoxer but I'm not him. I think FB is European, or originally from Europe, but I'm a born-and-bred American. :good

I think FB is smart, but English may not be his first language. I'm not taking a shot at him, that just is my sense. His English is excellent, but I'm not sure if that is his original language (which is completely cool).

So there is as much evidence that Europeans are as dumb as Americans. Good job! :good

Another option is go beat Foreman for the 154 belt, make Floyd wait and get a little older, and then fight him. Pac has a lot of options now. :hat

Yes, it's the language translation that's causing him to be overtly racist and excessively biased.

TS you're a moron; GBP is representing Mayweather Promotions; this drug test idea could have been from the Mayweathers, not GBP, ergo, you can't say there is any hypocrisy. But don't let that stop you from posting more of your self important bull****.

Well, Pac isn't much younger than Floyd, and has more fights and more punishment taken, so maybe not the best idea to try and wait for Floyd to rust.
