I guess it's time to talk about this upcoming fight. Another highly even match-up that features a grizzly vet against an undefeated rookie. It has all the makings of a great fight. SSM is coolness under fire while Cotto is overwhelming pressure. Cotto has the better punch, Mosley the faster moves. All these guarantee us a very unpredictable fight. I'll cross the line and say Mosley will take the fight by decision or late round stoppage in a very tough fight with his experience being the determining factor.
I have watched closely both sparring sessions available in you tube, against one larger than life Julio Cesar Chavez where lighter Shane is referred as the "moreno" and these later sessions prior to next Saturday's bout... And there's no doubt in my mind that Shane workrate dropped, first thing you notice is mobility or leg activity and then I see Shane closing down much more and thusly, taking it to the body and to the head on the fast rotation as they break off - that is not a good sign for Shane since he cannot out-manoeuvre this guy like another old gym rat in Bernard when he faced Winky. Still, believe Miguel A. Cotto is the favourite but Shane is most likely to pull the upset.
I can't wait, got next Sat. off work for this one. :happy :happy Put the thread up bookies, time to put all my v-cash on the Sugar Man.
