My only point was that it was officially disputed. Nothing more. Whether or not you can accept that is up to you.

You accuse me of being a fan boy but you ride AJ so hard it makes Miniq look like a hater in comparison.

I legit think Joshua is gonna be tied up for the next year and a half................Dubois, Parker (rematch), Zhang. I see all those happening before Fury and I really think Fury might be done after the Usyk rematch

And not only the points you mentioned, but he has a LOT of money in the bank....$100mill maybe? I'll give him props if he actually gets in the ring with Usyk a second time.

Oh, but I forgot: He's a Fighting Man.

Yup, and look at the guy whose career Fury's is tied to:
Did Wilder become a better fighter after losing his zero?

Skip the postcard. Answers on a stamp

Well, I’m of the belief that Fury definitely tried to age Usyk out.

That objective was, in part, satisfied - Usyk is clearly not exactly the same as he used to be - but he was still far too good for Fury.

There’s also the question of how Usyk’s own mindset might be affected after finally climbing to the top of the HW heap as undisputed King.

It’s been years and years in the making, lots of hard work and dedication. Maybe now it seems okay to open the pressure valve a little bit?

No, Usyk won’t fall dramatically fall off the wagon - but there could be the potential of him tapering back his own, usually fastidious preparations.

Opel is certainly now reflecting on how hard it’s all been and the sacrifices he’s had to make - in terms of his whole career.

As to the loss of the “0” improving Fury - it appears too late.

Earlier in his career, perhaps, but even then, if the bubble had been burst earlier, it still might’ve tipped him over.

Fury has certainly being living off the “0” disproportionately, for quite some time.

I don’t own a dog. I own a cat. But even my cat knows that Fury fought the best he possibly could.

I showed my cat the video of Tyson drunk - she covered her eyes with her paws and meowed “Retire already, you Big Drunk Dosser!”

The better question is will this loss make Fury a better man?
Considering his trash character the answer is probably not.

And yes, the rematch will go the same...

Probably not. He's now lost confidence, absolute belief and some more punch resistance.
If he keeps the same trainer then logically he should be worse.
It's possible he can improve his boxing and condition though, but he'd have to change things up.
Tyson Fury from the first Wilder fight would have done better.
Sounds silly but I remember those pool noodle things he was dodging with Davison and the reality is he was hard to hit back then.

The thing about Fury is as much as he is self destructive and has mental illness issues, he is not a stupid man. I think his ego will have been hurt but at the same time he’s going to study the fight and see his mistakes and make a better showing of himself. The questions around him will be his father’s influence, listening to Sugar and Sugar only, and keeping himself focused. From what I saw he can beat Usyk but he has to be 100 percent focused and determined to follow a game plan. Usyk proved that he is an amazing fighter who is very tough and determined. I think Fury can pull it off, the only question is does Fury?

I don't have to accept anything the original post from the other poster was he was trying to insinuate the fight was close and a very disputable fight which it isn't.

And all you're doing is playing mental gymnastics saying it's "officially disuputable" because one judge had a terrible scorecard having it 7-5 to Fury which is criminal.

The vast majority as I keep saying fully agree Usyk won in the region of 8-4, 7-5, with the knockdown which is atleast a 3 or 5 point victory which is a "clear win".

So no I don't accept the original post from a coping Fury fan that it was "close and disputable". And no I don't accept your mental gymnastics trying to saying its "officially disputable" because one judge had a terrible scorecard. It's a weak argument which I've already shut down with the Mayweather/Canelo example I guess that's "officially disputable" aswell.

No. He basically went out on the lash and overdid it, even for Fury.

Treating his body like a septic tank catches up to everyone (e.g. Ricky Hatton). Booze in particular erodes central nervous system over time and reduces reflexes.

Fury has been shipping shots since Wilder 3 he used to avoid.

He's done too much damage to himself and his ego is likely in freefall to overcome Usyk.
